A very lovely place to stay! A nice homey place with adorable farmhouse charm. It had everything we needed and when asked about something they were very prompt to get back to us and grant our request. Definitely a place we would stay again.

It was perfect! Also bonus of Elk herd outside. Watched them all evening from dining room and living room. It is a great place! Mojo pizza was good as well.

This was the best house we have ever rented! It was nice and clean. We'll kept. It felt like we were staying the night in someone's grandma's home in the very best way possible. What really blew us away was how stocked the kitchen was! It had every pot, utensil, plate, item that we needed plus more! Not to mention an actual spice drawer with oil and a little bit of rice if needed. Amazing!Plus the home was in the best location for all things Redwoods and Elk viewing.

Home was exactly as described. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was quiet and close to the visitor centers for the Redwoods! Would definitely stay again!

Genuine farm house vibe. Well stocked, plenty of hot water in the showers. Convenient access the redwoods and the coast, awesome area to visit.

Our family really appreciated our stay at the The Blankenship Farmhouse. In addition to being clean and comfortable as advertised, it was very quiet and the location was perfect for our visit to Redwood National and State Parks. It was located only minutes from the hikes and beaches we wanted to explore!The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was spacious enough for us to cook together and well-stocked with all the tools and cookware for preparing and serving delicious meals, including plenty of coffee, and a refillable water filter. A tankless water heater for ample hot water was a bonus.

The property was fine and it was as described. The poor rating comes from an experience we had on the third morning of a four night stay where a man with a rifle was in front of the house, shooting at elk that were in the pasture next to the house, This was not Elk hunting season and I’m certain after talking to law-enforcement that this was not legal. There was a beautiful bull elk and about 12 other in the herd. We heard the shots and and witnessed the bull elk being shot from the living room window. I called the host when I saw the man with the rifle on the property and she seemed totally fine with that. We were deeply sad and very concerned for our safety after witnessing this so we packed up and left.

House is adorable, impeccably clean, surrounded by horses, quiet location, roomy, has everything you need, comfortable, warms up quickly (we stayed in November), completely handicapped accessible, covered parking, and right off hwy 101. There's a pizza place and grocery store right across the street, too. We loved our stay!

Linen's in twin bed were not clean and actually had sand in them. Wifi is not very good, so if you plan on working remote, beware. There is no ensuite bathroom to any of the rooms, and one shower is very tiny. Otherwise, we had a good stay and all appliances, water temperature etc worked well. Definitely need to tell the cleaning staff to do a better job and make sure all bed linens are clean!

What a well maintained and immaculately designed home! Although we didn’t require it, I could tell much effort was put into creating an ADA accessible space. My girls loved visiting the horses. A very comfortable home.

Great place to stay

Lovely property! We appreciated the ramp leading to the front door, as one of our group was in a wheelchair. The kitchen was well stocked and I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Peaceful

We really enjoyed staying at the Blankenship Farmhouse. We LOVED the PEACEFULNESS and the location as it was very close to the trails we had planned to hike. It was very roomy for our family of 6 and a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. It was very charming!
