Pesca, diversión y reuniones familiares! Capacidad para 18 personas

Este hermoso A Frame se encuentra en una cala protegida y está ubicado justo en el medio del Bosque Nacional Angelina en una península aislada (seis millas por Forest Service Roads) y justo en el hermoso lago Sam Rayburn. Este amplio refugio se encuentra en más de un acre en una cala protegida donde se puede pescar y esquiar todo el día. Ya que estamos en el medio del Bosque Nacional, estás a pocos pasos de la caza. Disfruta de kilómetros de senderos para practicar senderismo, ciclismo de montaña y observación de aves. Desafíe a sus hijos a un juego de herraduras, arandelas, bádminton o voleibol y luego refrésquese en el lago.
La casa tiene 5 dormitorios y dos baños y duerme 18 en camas. Está totalmente equipado con TV satelital, internet satelital y reproductor de DVD, vajilla, utensilios de cocina, parrilla de carbón, dos combos de refrigerador y congelador, lavadora y secadora. Dentro de comedor asientos 6 en la mesa y otros 6 en el bar con capacidad para 16 fuera en la cubierta. Los baños están llenos de toallas, paños y secadores de pelo. Las tres habitaciones de la planta baja tienen camas queen size. La habitación tipo loft tiene una cama King y está en el piso de arriba. La habitación con literas está en el piso de arriba y tiene una cama grande, una cama doble y seis camas individuales. Todas las camas tienen colchones muy cómodos y ropa de cama de alta calidad y las camas matrimoniales, queen y king tienen colchones súper acolchados. ¡Están tan cómodos que no querrás salir de la cama!

La propiedad tiene más de 300 'de costa. Un kayak / canoa para dos hombres está disponible con chalecos salvavidas. Una gran terraza con vistas al agua y tiene dos grandes mesas de picnic y asientos. Si estás buscando el lugar más bonito en el lago, ¡este es el lugar!

We had a wonderful time. We had 18 people and had lots og toomngor everyone. This is a great location on the lake and this is a great place to tent and the owners are amazing. They let us come in early and leave a little later since it rained some. We had a fantastic weekend

It was nice and spacious, owner gave lots of info and was very helpful during our stay, we brought a pontoon and the lake was down but the owner took my husband to the boat ramp to see if we could launch there…. It was a nice peaceful get away with friends and family! All the beds were super comfy… it was one of the beat vrbo experiences we have had by far

Our family of 12 had an awesome time! This rental has everything you could want or need in a rental and Steve and Ferryn are so accommodating. They were next door and easily accessible to answer our questions. Our check in was a breeze. The place is so clean, with comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen. The guys caught lots of fish! The grandsons had so much fun fishing and using the little boat with the trolling motor! The girls enjoyed the Ping pong table and the games. This part of the lake was a good place for tubing and a short ride to an awesome beach area. The location is very quiet and secluded with beautiful sunsets. Thanks Ferryn and Steve for a great time on the lake. God willing we will see you next year!

Piece of heaven

It was a long dirt way drive for sure however it was the most peaceful, comfortable, safe place we have visited thus far. We started this family tradition trip since 2019. The host response was rapid and they were so kind. There were plenty beds and were super comfortable. The house was clean and homey, ac was cold and plenty of towels! Our kids loved the A frame design and walking out the back glass doors was the piece of heaven. The view along with fishing, swimming, canoeing, and hanging out it’s an all in one. Our family was definitely pleased and had voted to go back next year!

Great stay

Everything was as described in the listing. The host seems to have covered everything. We had a power outage, and provisions had been made to provide a generator to make our stay comfortable. Great planning.

Pleasant Stay

This is a cute A-frame with excellent views of the lake! The drive into the subdivision is dusty but so worth it. The fishing was very good! There are a lot of amenities. Check-in and check-out was very easy. I highly recommend this rental. Ferryn was friendly and helpful.

Great Time!

Loved the morning coffee looking at all the birds and that peaceful water. 8 oldies spent a great time fishing, visiting, napping and laughing.. OH Yea eating!!! Wonderful time already told friends to book!! We will be coming back!

Great Place

We have used the place for the last 2 years for our Family Vacation. Absolute best place I have found for a large group at the absolute best price. You could spend double the amount and still not have as nice a place / Location as this. I 110% recommend the A Frame House

Beautiful location

This A frame is located on a beautiful lake with tons of wildlife and stunning views. Me and my family loved the trip. The home comes with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Plenty of room for the 15 guests. We had our wedding at this location and was perfect. Hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The only downfall I would say is there were multiple large cobwebs throughout the home that could easily be removed along with the pillow in the home could for sure use replacing. When leaving and taking the pillowcases off to be washed we noticed multiple pillows with very large yellow stains and one appeared to be blood.

Family Reunion

Our family does a week together every year. It is a time in which we all look forward to. For the past several years, our family spent our time in Galveston, TX. This year we took a gamble and tried out Lake Sam Rayburn as we all spend our childhood there. Book the A-Frame was easy and met/exceeded all of our expectations. The area was quiet, the lake was right outside the door, the deck was wonderful, and the hosts were amazing and accommodating. Our kids spent every day in the lake and the fishing was top notch. We all agreed this was one of our best family reunions together.

Absolutely fantastic

Our families reunion with our matriarch and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We have been going to Lake San Rayburn for over 50 years and I have to say this was the best time we have ever had. A lot of this was the A Frame house and location. Host was great, house was very accommodating. They had everything we needed and wanted. I would give this 5 stars everyday. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay

Aframe Vacation

Best place for large group fishing trips! Third year in a row our group has stayed here. Some of the best fishing ion Rayburn close by. Cove is protected and pull boat up 200’ from cabin. Fish cleaning station is very convenient. Comfortable and clean cabin. Very quiet neighborhood except when we are there. Frank R

We are retired teachers who live in the A Frame during the winter and at our next door cabin during rental season. We love to watch the sunsets, water ski, spot bald eagles and relax on the lake during the summer.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We bought this property in 2010 and planned to rent it until we retired. However, we are now retired and even though this will be our permanent address, we are going to continue renting because it has been such a positive experience. Our family owns the small cabin next door which enables us to enjoy the lake while renting the A Frame.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We use to think that the distance from Houston was too far (takes 2 1/2 to 3 hrs) but after spending time at some lakes close to Houston with the crowds, we think our lake is the best in Texas.
