Nice Clean Quiet Getaway Week at Lake Rayburn/Whispering Pines. Just as advertised. Barbara & Jamie were attentive yet didn't hover. Everything worked and had everything we needed.

Great location and super hosts!

We stayed over the 4th of July holiday for about 6 days. Check in process was easy and smooth. Barbara and Jamie were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is located in the Powell Park cove so it was very conveniently located to grab ice and things from the store there at Powell Park.

Perfect little getaway!

This is my family's second time to stay at this property and it was just as nice as the first time. Everything we needed was there and the owners were super nice and offered if we needed anything to just ask. It was really in the perfect spot and just a short walk to the lake. We will def stay here again in the future.

Cute home

Cute home and great running room for the dogs. The water was apx 150-200 yards away. We were able to leave our boat in the water by their small dock. We shopped for the week before we left and were glad we did. Not to much shopping nearby (there is a small marina store) so if you go for more than a couple days I would recommend shopping before hand.

Great place and people

Jamie and Barbara were great. Very responsive and helpful. Clean place with everything we needed for a weekend of fishing. Plenty of place for trucks and trailers with launches not far away at all. Will be back again!

We will be back!

Great hosts. We were celebrating my mother in laws 80th birthday with a fishing trip, and they helped us all throughout process. We were greeted with flowers and a happy birthday ballon. Both houses were immaculately clean. We were a group of 10 so we rented the main house and the second smaller house which is in walking distance. We used a local guide for crappie fishing for two days and caught more fish than we could keep. Thanks so much!

Great Stay

Very friendly host. Lake house was nice and clean. Well furnished. We had a great time. Property was listed as water front. Due to the distance and trees water was not really visible from the lake house Overall great property and good trip

Private setting with great hosts. Also, walking distance to lake.

Great home. Really enjoyed our stay. The hosts live near the property and very very accepting, very gracious. We had a great time with friends and family.

Labor day get away

We had a wonderful time. House is close to the lake and was very clean. I would highly recommend this property to families wanting to enjoy the lake.

happy 4th of July 2020!

What a great house to stay at! The owners live right across the street and are very very friendly. When we got there we didn’t have chicken broth or flour to make our gumbo and they lent us some. You may not be exactly on the water but after a short walk you can go to a small deck and see the water and it’s great for doing fireworks down there during the holidays.. The beds downstairs were very comfortable and were very easy to sleep in. And the house is extremely clean and represented well on the advertisement. You are literally may be two blocks away from the entrance to Powell part which is so handy. The only two setbacks were one the Internet and phone was not very strong on the reception, And also plan to Wash dishes because there’s not a dishwasher. Aside from those two things we will definitely be back to this cabin and we recommend it to friends and family!!
