Beautiful, clean, comfortable and roomy studio as described; only drawback was the very old TV and cable setup (no smart TV). Host responded immediately to my one inquiry pre-check in, about construction nearby that turned out to have zero impact on my stay. Check in and out were easy and processes were clearly communicated via email. The property is immaculate and gorgeously situated; amenities are awesome (I used the pool and outdoor hot tubs, dry sauna and exercise/weight room). There are hiking and biking trails all around. I visited during a truly off-peak week - the tram had just closed for the season - but that was what I wanted, and indeed, it was magical to visit when hardly anyone was around. I will definitely go back when I can ski in and ski out!

We stayed here during the summer and thought it was a great value for our trip. The property is located in Olympic Valley, about a 15-minute drive from Tahoe City, and we found the drive easy and convenient.The room is exactly as described—a true studio. It has a small refrigerator, stovetop, and a few pots and pans, which gave us everything we needed to prepare some simple meals.One thing to be aware of during the summer is that the room does not have air conditioning included. If you want AC, you have to rent a unit for an additional charge. That’s something we would have liked to have been more clear in the VRBO description. It is there in the small print but wasn’t clearly know going in. We didn’t needed it, but it’s something worth knowing especially during the warmer months.Overall, for the discounted summer price, it was perfect for the two of us. It was a comfortable and affordable home base for exploring the Tahoe area, and we felt we got good value for what we paid.
