Had all we needed for our stay in eastern Puerto Rico.

Such a nice location!

We didn’t get a rental car, and this location was perfect for us! Less than a block from the beach, with lots of places to eat and explore all less than a 30 minute walk from the property.

Overall nice stay ,

Location is great ,1 min walk to beach , near supermarket , food and bars. Only downfall is the lights my go out. 2 complete nights without light but it happens it Puerto Rico ( said by host). No generator or back up system. I’d stay gain but not without generator, kids were scared and got thru out night.

Clean and close to Beach

The property was so clean and well maintained. We were so happy to be minutes from walking to the beach. We struggled a bit with the instruction for contactless entry, but other that it was exactly as described! Would stay again!

Awesome stay

Jesus has great communication and truly wants his visitors to have a great experience. Luquillo is a community of wonderful locals. I stayed 5 weeks and only needed a bicycle to get around town. If you expect the Ritz, go elsewhere but if you want a true authentic PR experience, look nowhere else

Ideal location for beach and rainforest

This was a perfect spot for our family of five for a couple days we had in the Luquillo area. A block from playa azul, and a couple minutes drive to luquillo Beach balneario. The public guarded beach was closed when we were there, but there was plenty of parking and lots of people enjoying the beach behind the Kiosks. Also easy proximity to drive to El yunque

Amazing!

We had a great 2 night stay here during our trip to Puerto Rico in early June. Place was amazing, location is perfect, like 2 block walk to the best beach. Communication with host was quick, no issues. Felt safe with kids, air conditioning worked great. Easy drive or walk to restaurants or stores. Highly recommend this place and host!

Great beach stay

Location Location Location! Property is 5 walking minutes to playa Azul and 5 driving minutes to loquillo beach. What else do you need to say when you have 3 young children in tow? It is a Basic 1 bedroom accommodation w out much direct sun inside but worked great for us during 1 week stay.

Pleasant stay

Pleasant experience staying at the property. Good communication. We had issue with the lockbox but Alfredo was quick in addressing it. The space was large and well lit. Overall, a very nice experience.

Little jewel in a perfect place

Jesus the property manager was so detailed. He sent us a couple of detailed emails with everything we needed to know. The “condo” was very organized, clean, well stocked and very roomy. Walking distance to the beach!! Definitely will go back!

Great location but poor attention to detail

Loved the location so can recommend this place overall but the check-in instructions were incomplete, little or no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, front gate is extremely difficult to open and close. I did appreciate that beach chairs and towels were provided though.

I will review the check-in instructions and lubricate the front gate. Sadly, you didn't inform me about the low shampoo and soap, that would have been solved in minutes. Hope you arrived home safe and consider my place for future stays, I will personally make sure that everything is as perfect.

No hot water

Place was as described dissatisfied with bathroom hot water none at all . Linens were inside the dryer instead of being available for the guests inside the closets. Family of four need more than two toilet paper. Purchase some and left it there for next guest. Personal opinion would not rent there again.

A Few Challenges

Overall we were satisfied with our stay, but there were a few challenges. I was unable to access the email with the apartment access information and it took Jesus about 4 hours to respond to the VRBO request to send it to another email address (I did not have a phone number for him). When he responded he told me that there was a mix up with his cleaner and the apartment was not clean and would not be able to be cleaned until the next day. We were not willing to stay in an uncleaned apartment, so Jesus refunded the $75 cleaning fee and the first night. We had to find a hotel for one night that cost us $150 so we did not save any money. The first night there the refrigerator was making a very, very loud noise. I contacted Jesus that night and he responded the next day and said it was an issue with the freezer fan icing up and he could have a repair person there the next day. I told him I would unplug the fridge and defrost the freezer and the problem/sound went away. I also texted Jesus for the wifi name and password and 12 hours later without a response I found it myself on the router. My daughter contracted Covid on our vacation and we had to leave 2 days early. We requested Jesus to refund us the last 2 days but he said he was unable to do that and to request it from VRBO. The location and the neighborhood were great. It is a basic no frills apartment that had everything in it that we needed (once it was cleaned and the freezer was defrosted).

Nathan, I am very sorry for my mistake with the cleaning. I refunded 1 night plus the cleaning for a total of $130. I gave you the option to stay that night for free. The issue with the refrigerator was totally out of my hands, it was a holiday and the fastest technitian was available the next day. Regarding yor 2 days earlier check out, I told you to explain it to VRBO, ask them for a credit or work something out. Really sorry for your daughter's sickness hope she gets better soon. Whenever you return to PR I will give you one night for free to make it up. Take care, thanks for choosing my place.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Sheila and I bought this property 16 years ago when Xavier was a baby. He started growing and loving soccer. We spent most of the weekends on the soccer fields and not having time to enjoy the apartment. That is when we decided to do short term rentals so we can block the dates we wanted and had the time to use and rent it on the other dates. So far we loved this experience and we use the extra money to travel.

This place is very quiet, close to everything, clean, loaded with all the things you may need and in the top of that it is very affordable. You will love this place we thought of everything: beach chairs, cooler, corkscrew, wine glasses, etc. Rent with confidence you are in good hands.
