Sunset Island 3A is a luxury bayside condominium located in a gated community. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has a furnished balcony with a breathtaking view of the canal and marshes.

The entire unit is decorated like a beach paradise, palm trees and beach tones accenting every room. The spacious living room is furnished with a new sofa and love seat, fireplace, and flat screen television. The sliding balcony doors allow plenty of natural light to brighten the space. Right off the living room is an elegant dining area, spacious enough for the whole family to enjoy meals together. Next to the dining area is the fully-stocked kitchen with a center island, just right for grabbing a quick bite. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, television, a private full-size bathroom and access to the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a fun, pink color scheme. The third bedroom has two twin beds with trundle beds underneath, great for kids. The second full bathroom is located in the hallway. This property comfortably sleeps up to eight people, so bring the whole family!

Sunset Island 3A has the following amenities: central air conditioning, two parking spaces, two TVs, cable tv, two DVD players, one VCR, free WiFi, ceiling fans, fireplace, full-size washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove, disposal, dishwasher, and an outdoor foot shower. Building amenities include indoor and outdoor pool, kiddie pool, private beaches, sun deck, island cafe, interactive fountain, gym/fitness center, walking trail, security guards. Six facility passes provided. Additional passes are available at the Sunset Island clubhouse.

This property does not allow pets or smoking. Shoreline Properties rents to families and responsible individuals over the age of 25.

Relaxing

This property is perfect for those looking for an Ocean City getaway, but are also looking to take it easy. It is in a unique location as the condo complex has a mile walk path, it's own bay-beaches and other great amenities.

Nice Condo with some shortfalls

Condo Pros -Spacious and layout is nice -Plenty of sleeping arrangements for adults and kids -Nice Kitchen with just enough stuff to support the stay, could use some additional kitchen items but decent enough -Great Balcony -Excellent Master bedroom with a very nice master bath. Cons -Cleanliness was not great. The guest bedroom had a seriously stained mattress pad. We also found a rather inappropriate item under the comforter, which leads me to believe they never even bothered to remove comforter between guests. Found some trash under the bed as well. The bedroom with the two twins had a carpet that was stained quite a bit. -Twin/trundle beds were not in great shape. One of the bed slats was broken upon our arrival and the trundles were not easy to move and probably need some work. Sunset Island PROS -The island itself is very nice and clean -Buildings and facilities seem to be kept in good order and even though there was construction happening in the building next door it did not disturb the stay -The pool and bay areas are very nice and kept clean Cons -For us the island culture was not a good fit. While there appeared to be a popular place for children (we had 4 on our trip), there were some items that really didn't make a lot of sense. -The pool doesn't open until 1130AM for island guests (11AM for owners). This doesn't make a lot of sense for a family on vacation to wait until lunch to swim in the pool. -The rental only comes with 6 pool passes, even though it sleeps 8. The description of the property does mention this but what it doesn't include is the information on how much extra passes cost, $75/pp. -The island restaurant/bar was convienent but very expensive, even by OC standards -The overall vibe we got from our experience and discussions from other renters was not positive. Here are some examples of other annoyances, received a parking citation for parking the wrong direction on the road in the community, heard from another family that owners on the island had been extremely rude to them and there children, and one gentleman told us that his parking pass was stolen and they made him pay $75 to replace. I wouldn't normally be so critical but for the price, we expected more. The fees/taxes added about 50% to the nightly cost. This island/condo are very nice but this review is biased towards the price compared with other OC accommodations. We expect to stay on oceanfront next time with a more reasonable cost.

Great community and location

Sunset Island was great. The pools and fitness center were closed our first 2 days there and the interactive fountain never was on but there was still plenty to do. Security was a good added touch we appreciated. Our place was spacious and fairly quiet when we were indoors. It was not clean by standards you’d expect upon checking in and every closet had a mess in it. I expected more for the price paid to stay for the week especially with having to bring all of your own linens and towels. I don’t think clean floors, mats, dusting and room to put your belongings in the closets would be too much to ask for. None of it upset our vacation but the reasons I listed did affect my overall ratings. The island itself was very clean with caretakers out every morning blowing debris from walkways and combing the sand at the beach areas.

Wonderful Stay

Love Sunset Island, location of condo was great and everything was there that we needed. Condo was clean, could use some updating but was very nice for our stay. thank you
