This beautiful 4 bedroom two story home is in the Windsor Park village of the popular Remington Golf Community. Remington Golf boasts an 18 hole championship visually striking course with a complete practice area including a unique water driving range. This course is a mile from its sister course, Kissimmee Bay Golf Club. Remington Golf Community is just 1.5 miles north of the intersection of the Florida Turnpike and Hwy 192 which offers great access to Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios theme parks. Shopping and dining can be found in either direction on this central artery. This home is ideal for families with kids, golfers and snow birds. Remington is just a short drive to the Orlando International Airport and is a gated community with the security gates manned at night. This home has a 55" TV in the family room, a 50" TV in the master bedroom and TV's in all of the upstairs bedrooms.
The property management company is available 24 hours a day if you have any problems at the home.

Great for family getaway

We were celebrating a family birthday in the area and this spacious house had all the room for 3 families. We enjoyed our stay. Also, close to restaurants and shopping.

My family and i had the best time at this house! Everyone was comfortable and we felt right at home! It was big and spacious and had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back as often as we can. Thanks Craig!

Great place!!!

The house was everything we expected plus some! Very clean, very nice community,. I have stayed in several homes in the Kissimmee area and this is by far the best experience we have ever had. George the house manager was extremely helpful with any questions we had. FYI if your debating staying in a hotel or a house in the same price range just book the house because any hotel that's in this area for the price usually is pretty run down and has a quarter of the room this house has. No issues what so ever

This property is very clean. We had the pool heated and it was warm. The view of the lake was great. Tips for future renters: This house has just the basics - towels, dishware and appliances. If you plan on cooking, you must buy EVERYTHING YOU NEED - including salt, pepper, oil, spices, etc. There are no basics at the house. I have stayed at over 30 VRBO rentals and have never encountered this. I even had to go buy a can opener. There is a pool but no pool towels - bring your own. The garage door does not have an opener so plan on parking in the driveway. I asked the management company about the garage and he told me to open and close it manually. I am a 60 year old woman - I parked in the driveway.

The house is located in a quite neighborhood there is a grocery store nearby but not a lot of other amenities or restaurants. The house was clean upon arrival. As other reviewers stated the house is a little worn down. The screened in pool had broken panels. Limited worn out lawn furniture. There was no internet. The property manager was willing to get the cable company out if we wanted to wait around for the cable company. We chose to use our personal hotspots as we where on a working vacation.

Good Location ONLY

Nice location, clean house, the property manager was brilliant. However, the house needs a MAJOR upgrade it probably hasn't been modernized since it was built. Upstairs AC vents very blowing very little or no air. We were provided fans to use in the heat. The BEST thing about the property was the property manager who was very helpful.

My short stay

Overall the stay was okay but the property manager (George) “PROMISED” that someone would come and fix the hanging screen from the pool area that was already down when we got there. I immediately called and he said that someone would be out to take of that. I assumed it was going to be taken care of before we left but it wasn’t. It caused our fourth to be somewhat uncomfortable because the flies were attacking us like killer bees. They wouldn’t allow us to enjoy our food by the poolside. It was a disaster. I just wish I was told up front that the screen wouldn’t be fixed during our stay. And I understand that it was a holiday and that everyone wanted to enjoy it relaxing with family and friends just like myself but that should have been taken care of before we arrived. Business is business and your word should be your bond.

When we set the house up for the guests arrival on July 2nd, we noticed a ceiling pool screen loose. We contacted our screen repair guy and he said he would try to get to it before the holiday, but we had daily rains which keeps him off of the ceilings of pool cages. That basically gave him 1 day to get it replaced before the 4th of July. It turns out he wasn't able to do that. When the guest called the office when they checked in, to alert us of the pool screen, we told her that we had the replacement of the pool screen already on our list of repairs. We never promise any contractor work, which has to be done outdoors when it's not raining. At the time of her phone call, we did not know if the screen was going to be replaced the next day or not.

Good experience

Good experience overall but it wouldn’t hurt to fumigate considering the somewhat copious amounts of roaches and spiders.

Thank you for your review. It would have been nice, if, during your stay, if you saw a couple of roaches, that you would have called the property management who could have come out that day and treated the house. The homes are treated on a regular basis, but some bugs can sneak into a house. The 3 families that have been at the house since you checked out, have not mentioned anything about bugs.

Just Good Enough because were in FLORIDA!

Stayed here with husband, 16 yo son and 9 yo girl. Lots of space to spread out. The house looked exactly as advertised online. Lots of artificial flowers in the house. They are incredibly are dusty! Just get rid of them and place a chair in the master bedroom. Need someplace to sit in this large room besides the bed. The pool is medium-sized without a hot tub. The screened in pool area is in need of great repair. Daily there was an excessive amount of bugs in the pool. Had to fish bugs out EVERYDAY before swimming. Called the property manager about the filtering system for this issue because it barely seemed to move the water. Pool guy came the next day. No change. The patio/pool deck and front porch is in desperate need of power washing! Spider webs and leaves have accumulated in the corners and floorboards. Husband found a dead decomposing salamander in between the leather couch. Needs to be vacuumed. Lots of trash under the cushions. Found 2 maggots under the sink on the dirty sponge. The garage door leading into the house doesn't close very well. It was closed by jamming the broom between the door and dryer. Because we didn't know this locking mechanism we killed on average 10-15 flies/day. They came through the faulty door. The upstairs was extremely hot in the evenings. Kids were very uncomfortable going to sleep at night. The air conditioner was programmed to go as low as 70. I understand saving money on heating and cooling but in July there should be more consideration of lowering the temperature. No light bulbs in one bedroom. TV quit working in bedroom couldn't figure out how to reprogram it. Wifi information given was inaccurate had to figure it out by looking at the router. Glad we has a place to call home for a week, but would not stay here again.

Thank you for the review. Just to clear up a few things, the door to the garage works fine and it has a normal lock and a deadbolt, Im sorry if you didn't know how to use the door. The pool enclosure is screened so there should be no bugs. Yes the AC is locked so it will not go lower than 70 degrees which is cold enough at antime of the year and safeguards th AC system from freezing up. If you had called regarding the tv and wifi we could have guided you through how to use it. We didn't receive any communication from you until we received this review one month later.

Beautiful and comfortable home!

The house was perfect for our two gymnasts, two parents and two coaches to bond and socialize and prepare for our big competition!! The pool area was absolutely beautiful and relaxing! Thank you again for a fantastic stay!!

Not worth the money.

Arrived late and was very surprised how bad the unit was. Had an odor as if it hasn't been cleaned correctly in a long while. Carpets stained ,furniture broken in the Master bedroom. No tv's in the other bedrooms. Knobs falling off dressers.foyer at the front door was filthy,hadnt been swept in awhile. black mold on tub in master. knives missin g in the kitchen.Air return duct needed maintnance done either moldy or need paint. Very disappointed and decided not to stay.Called Home Away made notice to them and my credit card company that,We were not staying in a place like this. The management company was closed and I found out the owners are in Europe somewhere. All this happened at 11:30 PM on our 1st night. So not a happy camper about this. Stay away is my best advice..................

We are very disappointed that this guest was not happy. We were not allowed to respond to his complaints as he did not stay in the villa so had no chance to address any problems. This guest has received a full refund. Please check out other reviews and then judge on the comments made. The Owner

Fantastic villa in the most idyllic location!

As four adults staying here in this lovely home from home villa couldn't of been a better choice. Myself and my Husband have stayed in the Remington area a number of times and this villa has been the best so far. It was spacious and felt very homely with the upstairs. The fittings and features really added a lovely touch. The villa had been cleaned to a high standard on arrival and had every amenity needed. The lake view is stunning and the wildlife is an added bonus. With the privilege of overlooking the ducks whilst eating our breakfast most mornings. Remington is a stunning area and is so quiet and tranquil, the perfect get-away from our busy home. The downstairs master bedroom is huge and is like a separate living area. The television had a large variety of channels and films for those who like to catch up on the T.V. We had a minor problem with the patio mech due to one of the larger birds but there is a list of necessary contacts in the villa brochure and next to the telephone. I had also contacted Mr Bicker to report the problem and he had got it sorted instantly. Overall, our stay was perfect. Orlando being one of my favourite destinations and having the luxury of being in a gated community away from it all is the icing on the cake. Mr Bicker, was helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you for our stay. We look forward to booking again. Mr and Mrs Neel.

Fabulous house at condo pricing

Now Florida is condo state. Which is true, but for a condo price, you get a whole house. Huge kitchen with all the aplliances, nicely furnished living room with a dining room, upstairs you have 2 bedrooms . But what makes it fabulous is the master bedroom with walk-in closet and complete bathroom (toilet, shower and bath), hell it runs trough the entire length of the house. Outside at your doorsteps, you have your own enclosed (screen) inground private pool. That beats hearing children screaming or Dick and Larry arguing about the problems they had with their luggage and the clerck at the front desk !!! Also included in the price a garage that can hold 2 cars. Now I am not a travel expert, but I can figure a good deal when I see one.

We come here every year, the villa is by far the best we've stayed in so for the last 5 years we've come back. Communication is great, location is quiet and serene and it has everything you want! We will def go back in 2017!!!
