The Indian River intracostal waterway with Eco Tours and water taxi, world-class Spa, restaurants, bars, and shops are just two blocks away. The community park with children's playground, lighted tennis and basketball courts is only one block walk. The beach is three blocks but why walk when the beauty of NSB is that you can pack up everything you need in your car and park right on the beach. This is especially convnenient when you have all of the gear that comes when taking little ones to the beach.
The old world charm of historic Canal St. in downtown NSB combined with the eclectic shopping and superb dining on Flagler and fabulous 13 mile pristine white beach convinced us this was the place where we would retire someday. One of our favorite spots in all the world is the corner table at Breaker's - looking out at the sand and the surf while sipping a beverage and enjoying key lime seasoned shrimp - it just doesn't get any better!
Back at the beach house you'll enjoy a spacious living & dining area as well as fully equipped kitchen with travertine flooring throughout. The entire house has been newly decorated and best described as 'Chic but Beachy.' You will feel relaxed and comfortable as the peacefully decorated master bedroom has lots of closet space, a queen tempurpedic mattress, rocking swivel chair for a quiet reading spot, watching tv or to rock little ones to sleep. There is also ample space for the roll-away bed.
The second bedroom, inspired by a nautical theme, has a comfortable full and twin bed with room for the roll-away bed as well. There is a built-in bookcase (complete with reading selections) as well as a desk and captain's chair for your computer set-up.
The house is situated on a corner lot and is nicely landscaped with mature trees to provide plenty of shade as you sit out on the patio with firepit to enjoy a relaxing evenig smelling the jasmine and gardenias nearby. There is a nice side yard and a fenced area in the back for your small pet. The oversized two car garage includes washer and dryer plus ample room for storage.
This is our home away from home so we are constantly adding amenities for our comfort as well as yours. We want you to enjoy your time there as much as we do so please don't hesitate to contact us if there is something you are looking for that may not be included in this listing.
We have recently put an addition above the double garage that will remain as our private dwelling. The only time our paths will cross is if you want that to happen on the rare occasion we are in for the weekend. You will be given advance notice of our plans to visit. Our quarters are separate and your privacy will be respected.
