The Ranch@Fredericksburg - The Blue Bonnet - 2BD/2BA

This luxurious boutique cabin (one of 3) is located in the heart of the Fredericksburg wine country. This cabin is located on a 26-acre ranch on a beautiful hilltop about 6 miles outside of Fredericksburg. We have a horse and three donkeys that guests can pet. Our guests love the fabulous views and sunsets, the quiet serenity, and the well-thought-out cabin amenities. We look forward to hosting you at the Ranch!

The space:
Life at The Ranch will leave you relaxed and wishing you booked a longer stay! Enjoy the vibrant sunsets from our hilltop cabins while enjoying a glass of wine, or go into town and shop and dine at many of the boutique stores and authentic German restaurants and many trendy restaurants Fredericksburg has to offer. In the cabin, we have tried to think of every detail possible to ensure you enjoy your stay. Feel free to walk our gorgeous land, where you will see our horse and donkeys, the neighbors' cows, sheep, and goats, and even wild deer at dusk and dawn. If there is anything we can do to improve your stay, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Guest access:
If you tour the property, please note the pool and hot tub area are for the guests in the main house only - please do not go inside the wood-gated area around the house. You may tour all of the rest of our property. We have neighbors on either side of our 26 acres - please be respectful of their property and fences.

Nice, secluded spot with beautiful views! The cabins are super cute and have every thing you need! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend with friends! They are pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog. They have donkeys and horses on the property you can feed carrots to and they may even let you pet them! We had a great time! The only peice that was a bit difficult is the grass areas. It’s wild Texas prairie so full of stickers which made it tough to take the dog potty -but we made do. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Fredricksburg and we will definitely be back!! Hosts are very welcoming and communicative

Perfect location for us. The bedding was so comfy. Everything was great. Did find out you can't walk barefoot, stickers everywhere. Hopefully they can spray. But other than that it was and. And the sunset, beautiful!

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so sorry about the stickers. Spraying does not help the stickers. We have tried to stop these dang things. Even we burned last winter. We have had a professional company come out and spray. If you have a remedy to get rid of these - please do share. We will try it! Jose is going to drag blankets as someone gave us that idea. But they are deep into the soil. So they keep coming back. Thank you for staying with us and I pray we have these things gone and you can come back and visit us again :) Best, Rose Ranch

This cabin was perfect for two couples on a wine country weekend. The host was very responsive when we had a water pressure issue and addressed it quickly. We would stay there again!

We stayed here for a birthday trip and overall had a good experience. The host was very accommodating with our request to bring our two large dogs, which we really appreciated. The location was great and worked well for what we needed, and the rooms themselves were nice and comfortable.That said, there were a few issues during our stay. When we arrived, we found there were no pans or cooking utensils available, so we had to go out and buy some ourselves. We also found a dirty sock from a previous guest under the dining table, which made us question the cleanliness a bit.Overall, the property served its purpose and the stay was enjoyable, but the kitchen could definitely use more amenities and a more thorough cleaning between guests.

Hello Ashley, I wanted to touch base with you on your stay here at Rose Ranch. First, we do apologize that our cleaning company missed the sock under the dining table. We have made them aware of this miss! I do hope you did find the rest of the cabin in top cleanliness order! It is our first and foremost expectation of our cleaning crew that everything is spotless - in fact we have and pay an inspector to do a last minute walk through to make sure that this is a spotless clean and is ready for our guest to check in. So we do want to apologize to you and your group for the Blue Bonnet not being at its best! We do include in our information that is sent out to all our guests that we do not provide pots or pans or cooking utensils. The white farm house cabins in most cases are short stays and most of our guests enjoy the in town experience of going to one of our many, many restaurants. We have put a few items in the cabins like a microwave, one burner cook top, and a electric skillet if the guests do choose to cook a meal during their stay, as well we do have a very nice large grill in the common area for your use. But with all this said- we do let you know we don’t provide pans, pots, cooking utensils, etc for cooking your meal. Accept for the electric skillet. We are sorry you missed that communication. It was our pleasure hosting you and we do hope you will try us again sometime when the yearn for the Hill Country calls you again! Best, Jan and Chris Rose Ranch

Very clean cabin. Friendly host. We had a great stay with no issues at all. Will stay here again. We came for the car show in Luckenbach pulling our car trailer and there was plenty of room to park our trucks and trailers.

Girls Weekend

Loved the location and proximity to town. Super comfy beds and plenty of room for three ladies to enjoy a weekend get away. The kitchen area was perfect for light snack, coffee and cocktails.
