Donna Lee's Cottage-For Anglers & Events : Covered Bass Boat Parking + Fiber

Bremen Cottage: Covered Bass Boat Parking + Fiber Internet

Welcome to our charming Bremen Cottage—a peaceful retreat just minutes from Smith Lake Park without the waterfront price tag. Once my wife’s grandmother’s home, it’s now lovingly remodeled to blend family history with modern comfort.

Comfort for Groups

2 bedrooms + daybed room + sleeper sofa = space for up to 7

Plush living room with 65" Roku TV, plus additional TVs in bedrooms and den

Fiber internet (300+ Mbps) for streaming, work, or tournament prep

Fully Equipped Kitchen
Cook, host, or reheat tournament leftovers with full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher, and stocked cookware. Other items might be available upon request.

Perfect for Fishermen & Events

Covered parking for one + gravel parking for more (great for boats/trailers). Our covered area is only big enough to accommodate one bass boat. Larger boats will not fit due to height restrictions. More covered parking in a shop nearby could be available at request.

Outdoor plugs for gear and easy turnaround

Quick access to Smith Lake Park, Smith Lake Dam, Stone Bridge Farms weddings, Wallace State events, and Cullman’s Ag Trade Center, Stoney Lonesome, and a lot more!

Pets Possibly Allowed Upon Request
We definitely understand how pets can become four-legged family members. Because of some renters misusing the property, this location is not "pet friendly" automatically / all the time. If you have to have pet-friendly accommodations, let us know.

Private & Relaxing
The home sits on 3 acres with room to roam. We live nearby but tucked back in the woods—available if you need us, invisible if you don’t.

Bremen Basecamp
We’ve kept this a short-term rental to make each stay special. Whether you’re here for a fishing tournament, a wedding, a school event, Stoney Lonesome OVH, or just a peaceful getaway, Bremen Cottage is ready to be your basecamp.

Video tour and floor plan are included in the listing.

Cozy Farmhouse

Loved every thing about this house. All the furniture, decor, down to the sheets was all coordinated to match the old farmhouse look and it was so nice. Very clean! Would love to find a reason to come back!

気になった点 : ロケーション
Everything was clean and roomy. Everything functioned and worked as it should. Communication was good with the host. We did have a scary encounter with the neighbor dog. Our host did contact them immediately and we never had another issue, but it did restrict our time outside, as we didn’t want to risk a repeat.

Adorable and exceptionally clean!

What a beautiful, roomy, clean cottage! Every tiny little thing was already considered and provided for us. The owners were extremely communicative and responsive. The kitchen is well-stocked. The bedroom was comfortable. Check in/out process could not be easier. One of the best stays we have had and I just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

My wife Abby and I have deep roots in North Alabama, the area we've always called home. We tied the knot in 2018 and settled down right beside the serene Smith Lake. I attended Birmingham-Southern College and Auburn University, where I finished with a dual-degree in Bachelors of Science and Industrial Engineering respectfully. I alway had a dream of being able to fish professionally. This dream turned into a thrilling career, and I've been fishing professionally for nine years now, exploring various corners of the country.

Abby, initially a dedicated nurse, chose to join me on my travels in 2018, embracing the adventure of life on the road. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone through in 2020 when she founded Lake Home Solutions, a concierge service specializing in the Smith Lake area. Her business primarily focuses on maintaining and managing short-term rentals, ensuring they are in pristine condition.

This experience directly translates into the care we put into our own rental property. We understand the nuances of creating a welcoming and well-maintained space, ensuring that our property will be in impeccable condition for your stay. We're excited to share a piece of our world with you and are committed to making your experience at Smith Lake truly memorable.

Our choice to settle in this neighborhood of North Alabama was deeply influenced by our longstanding connection to the area. It's more than just a location for us; it's a part of our story. Our rental property, Donna Lee's Cozy Cottage, holds a special place in our hearts as it was originally the home of Abby's grandmother.

Acquiring and transforming this cherished family home into a rental property has been a labor of love. We've dedicated ourselves to a complete remodel, infusing the cottage with modern comforts while preserving its original charm. Our goal is to honor Abby's grandmother's legacy by creating a space that offers guests a delightful and memorable retreat.

What we enjoy most about this neighborhood is its blend of tranquility and community spirit. It's a place where the beauty of North Alabama is on full display, from the serene landscapes to the friendly faces that make up our community. Every aspect of this area, from its natural beauty to its rich history, contributes to the unique and inviting atmosphere that we and our guests cherish.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What truly sets Donna Lee's Cozy Cottage apart is its blend of heartfelt history and modern comfort. This isn't just a rental property; it's a cherished piece of our family's story, originally belonging to Abby's grandmother. We've poured love and care into every corner of the cottage, ensuring that it honors her legacy while providing all the contemporary comforts our guests could desire.

Our property stands out due to its meticulous remodel, which we undertook with the aim of creating a perfect balance between modern amenities and homely charm. Every detail, from the cozy interior design to the thoughtfully chosen amenities, is designed to make our guests feel both pampered and at home.

Nestled in the heart of North Alabama, the cottage offers an unparalleled experience of the area's natural beauty and tranquility. Its location beside Smith Lake provides a serene backdrop, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The personal connection we have to the area and the property itself translates into an exceptional level of care and attention to detail, ensuring that every stay is special.

Moreover, our experience with Lake Home Solutions gives us a unique insight into what makes a short-term rental truly outstanding. We apply this expertise to Donna Lee's Cozy Cottage, guaranteeing that it's not just a place to stay, but a memorable part of your journey.
