Enjoy the beautiful country setting from the large covered front porch. This gorgeous log home was completed in 2023. It is fully furnished with a well equipped modern kitchen and onsite laundry.

There are 3 ring cameras located on the property for security. All cameras are located outside. One is located in the doorbell. The other two are located on the northeast exterior corner overlooking the back door and the outdoor shed entrance.

The cabin and its surroundings are beautiful! We loved all the attention to detail within the cabin and the awesome front porch. Wilderness Park and Sturgeon Bay offer private access to Lake Michigan and incredibly scenic views of dunes and the lake.

We had such a wonderful stay. Easy communications and the cabin had everything we needed. The location was perfect allowing for a quick drive to all the nearby attractions or to just stay close by and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. It really did feel like a home away from home.

Wow!!! This cabin is top notch and no corners cut!! So clean, comfortable and quiet!! Great for our family and close to several area interests!! My husband wants to build one just like it!! Super friendly host, very good communication! Can’t recommend this place enough!! My husband says 12 stars and we all agree!! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!!

Beautiful Cabin with extremely comfortable beds!

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept great. There was not much around the cabin so we tried to eat our meals before returning for the night. The owner was great and answered all of my random questions promptly.

Fantastic place!

My family went with my sister in law for 5 days to this house and it was FANTASTIC. So clean, cute place, and pretty close to mackinaw without staying right in the city. The host and her family are amazing. We messed up the lock on the front door and someone was there to help us get in within 5 minutes, and he was so nice! Beds were very comfortable and you can just tell there is so much care taken with this property. Would definitely go back.

Perfect spot for our visit to Michigan and Mackinac Island! There were nine of us and the space was big enough for all. We ate at the large table inside and also used the picnic table on the porch. Everything we needed was easy to find and available - cooking utensils, games, spices…!Our host was easy to reach and answered questions promptly!Bliss Township was so cool - short car trip to a beautiful beach, cute little general store, great eating places and a POLO MATCH! Yes, polo in Michigan! We rented kayaks from the Cecil Bay Trading Post.TIP: If you go to Mackinac Island, save your Fort receipt to get into the Fort in Mackinaw City.

Bridge walk stay

This is a beautiful log cabin set back on a quiet peaceful road. We loved the large front porch, picnic table and huge kitchen table. All were perfect for our group of 10. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels and toilet paper in the bathrooms. All this made our stay easier as we didn’t need to stop for these things on our way. some sound deadening panels or materials would be a great addition. As you could hear the ice maker, toilets flushing, and quiet conversations everywhere in the house. A few times things were dropped on the loft floor and it sounded like bowling balls in the bedrooms below. A rocking chair or two would be welcome additions to the porch!

Gorgeous property. My daughter’s wedding was in St Ignace, and I could not find a home there that would work for my handicapped mother. She needs easy access into a home, its bedrooms and bathrooms. This home has two steps onto the front porch to get into the house. There are two bedrooms downstairs, as well as two bathrooms downstairs with large walk-in showers. The upstairs loft is one large room containing 6 twin size beds. Pros:-Mattresses are comfortable memory foam.-Plenty of towels and pillows.-Washer/dryer.-Kitchen well stocked. -Had enough bathroom and kitchen consumables. -Huge propane grill on huge front porch, with a huge picnic table to eat at. -Fixtures/furniture throughout are all beautiful, and good quality. You can tell homeowner put care into the building and furnishing of home. -Very secluded, but GPS took us right there. -Owner communicates well. Very good property instructions were sent multiple ways ahead of time, so I felt secure and informed before I got there. -Owner is responsive. She texted me within an hour when I had a question. Cons:-Door to master bathroom opens toward sink, so you cannot stand at sink with door open. -Inside home is noisy because it is all wood, so it may not work well if you have a baby, or someone who sleeps lightly. -No railing to get onto porch.-Wood floors and stairs to loft are VERY slippery in socks. -Mat at front door is slippery on floor. I moved it so no one fell. Love it100% would stay again

My husband and I both grew up in Northern Michigan. We moved to North Florida in 2014 for job opportunities and have been raising our family there since.
Northern Michigan has always been a special place for our family and we come back to enjoy it every summer. We picked the property for its convenient location to our favorite beach, Sturgeon Bay.
All of the log work was completed by Big Valley Log Works located just a few miles from the cabin. Each log was hand hewn and set by hand. It has truly been a labor of love.
Our hope is that we can share this beautiful home with others looking to make wonderful vacation memories with their families.
