Great place to stay for first time in St. Thomas

We loved the condo we booked mainly for the 360 views from the balcony. The place met all of our needs and was in a convenient area. Could get to Red Hook or Sapphire Beach in a short drive. And walking distance to Margaritaville.

Just Perfect

Amazing view, plenty of amenities in the unit and a lovely, quiet property. The unit (B14) had anything we needed including much appreciated beach chairs. Views from balcony are amazing!!Would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy oasis with perfect view

Super clean, cozy, and comfortable. Pictures don’t do justice. Best meals at the Sun and Sea Grill on the grounds. Quick walk to Margaritaville. Don’t expect to use their beach though-it’s very eroded. The closest beach is Coki which was also an easy walk. Lovely screen doors that let the breeze come through. The one thing that has left a bad taste in my mouth was my encounter with the resort shuttle driver. Upon check in, they give you a list of St Thomas taxi companies, and have 2 of these companies highlighted, showing those are the top 2 they recommend. My understanding was that if I needed a taxi, I could either call off this list OR I could ask the front desk staff to call one for me. Well I had no problem calling myself, and did a few times without issue. One day I was waiting outside the lobby for a taxi I had called and another taxi had pulled up for a family who was waiting by me. The resort shuttle driver was nearby and demanded I get into the taxi the family was getting into. I tried to explain to him that I had a separate one coming. He became very irate and aggressive towards me. Even the family was trying to help me out. He continued to yell at me to get in their taxi. I tried to ask if I needed to call my taxi and cancel it. He could not have a calm conversation with me. He said “I’m not worried about you anymore.” It was the most bizarre, unexpected, and jarring moment of my trip. Besides that, everything else about the resort was so lovely and wonderful.

Beautiful views! Loved it all! Only downfall is construction underneath us, started at 8am Friday, 9am Saturday and Monday… when on vacation here nobody should be up at 8am because of construction!

Great staff very responsive, good food rest was terrible

You know the weeds are terrible and smell bad. You should be honest and tell people that before booking. The room safe had tape holding the battery inside the safe door, kept falling off and had to have staff several times to open it. On 4 th of July we came back to room for money and wallet to go to St. John for fireworks, safe was dead and no staff till next day because tape came off battery! Wasted day. Next day cable cut no tv. Your wifi is the worst and most unusable I have tried around the world. Glad staff was nice. Finally, this is 2023 and you have no gym to work out in.

Wonderful View

For the price, this property was on-point. A few other reviewers did not like its proximity to the restaurant. We were not bothered by the cars parking close to the building or the noise in the late afternoon as they were getting ready for dinner service. It is a high-end restaurant that is not open late. We enjoyed being close to the lobby as we did not rent a car. It made getting a taxi easy. The unit itself is on the top floor with amazing views. Although I would have preferred to have a deadbolt at night, we felt safe. As an active couple, we found it an easy walk down to the bar and pool on the water and an easy walk in front of Margaritaville to get to Coki beach. The furnishings reminded me of my grandparents' home in Florida. A little dated, but comfortable. We had everything we needed. Although we did not use the beach chairs, we did end up using the snorkels. There are a few outdoor pieces that are in need of repair, but again - they worked. The restaurants on the property were far superior to Margaritaville and the resort offered more privacy. The snorkel tour offered on the property was cheaper and smaller than that offered at the nearby resort. We appreciated the smaller, more intimate resort as we wanted to get away from people. The only real negative comment we had was about the cleaning service. The unit was dusty and we had to clean hair off the shower and the toilet upon arrival. The resort definitely needs to step that up as they don't clean daily.

Hidden Gem on the East End

The view from B14 is spectacular, and a reason to stay again. The unit is nicely furnished - not crowded with heavy furniture, but light and airy. We had everything we needed. Just two things, the lamp in the LR is broken - likely from falling over in the wind; and we could not use the ceiling fan in the BR due to loud squeaking. We've talked about staying again - great location and views. It's a busy location tho' right behind the restaurant, and the property's service carts buzz past night and day. Overall, a very nice unit. Glad we found it.

Caribbean Get Away

The view from the wrap around deck is spectacular and grand. This is truly the thing that makes the unit pleasant and highly enjoyable. The unit itself is not quite up to the standard for the price we paid, With cleaning fee and service fee we paid about $600 per night. This unit needs a fresh “white” paint job. It is painted in various shades or white — like eggshell and off white — and there are rust marks on the wall from the A/C. We did not use the A/C while we were there. The kitchen is fine —it has a coffee maker, but no coffee of any kind is provided upon arrival. The lock does not have a dead bolt at all, although the other units at this condominium-resort apparently do! The instruction manual in the unit for the resort condominium complex says to use the dead bolt when you leave your unit as an extra security measure . The unit we booked has only a push-button lock. The unit is located just next to the restaurant. The employees park their cars in the driveway leading into the restaurant, blocking the entrance way to the Unit. Finally - the “room safe” mentioned in the room description was locked and not useable for us during our stay. The sliding glass doors do not lock — However, we did not experience any break in. It would be nice to have the deadbolt and the in-room safe available. Finally, there is a garbage area in the back for the restaurant which is a separate building, but adjacent to this unit. From time to time you might smell garbage, or hear the employees throwing the garbage into the bins. This is the main reason I feel this unit is not up to the level we expected for the price. Also — this unit could benefit from a larger television. The TV is small (27 in) and a modern, larger TV would be an easy, inexpensive update. The unit was clean and the white towels were new and excellent. The unit has newer appliances such as a small refrigerator. This unit is small and adequate. It is just not luxurious. 3.5 stars We enjoyed the beach chairs and cooler. They also have 2 new snorkels & masks for use during your stay. The knives were sharp. There is no dishwasher, and no washer/dryer.

Great Location

The condo was in a great location and had pretty much everything we needed. They had beach chairs and a cooler for guests to use which was nice. Beautiful views and fun times at the restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Clean and serene

We loved it! The condo was clean and well-stocked. We appreciated the nice beach chairs that we used daily. Loved the expansive porch! Unparalleled views! The bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked wonderfully. (Not that we used it much). Thank you for sharing this slice of Heaven with us, it was truly a gem.

10 days in paradise

The photos don’t do it justice, the view is mesmerizing. The wrap around balcony was where I spent most of my time while awake and not exploring the island. I had my morning coffee watching the sea turtles feeding in the bay every morning and basked in the moonlight and stars in the evenings out there. Some logistic about B14 are it is easily accessible, no stairs or rough path ways. There were beach chairs, a cooler, pool toys and snorkels! Great air flow with the high ceiling and fans. I would absolutely recommend staying here, I know we will again when visiting the island.

Anniversary getaway

My wife and I came to St Thomas to celebrate our 40th anniversary and chose Point Pleasant as our resort to stay. We picked B14 to stay in for 8 days. Upon arrival we were very surprised to find a big red heart made from flower petals and a bottle of sparkling wine on our bed. What a wonderful gesture. The resort was beautiful and our place was the perfect spot. We absolutely loved having coffee on the wrap around deck and watching the sail boats going in and out. We will definitely by back.
