Excellent location. Wonderful views of the beach from condo. Less than 5 minute walk to beach right outside the door. Very clean condo...easy checkin and out.

Nice large rooms! Really likes the wrap around balcony with access from living room and both bed rooms!’ Loved all the windows!! Had things to accommodate us within the kitchen!! Even had the extras … can’t complain it was very homey

Stay in South Seas

Overall the condo was very nice. It was just as described and we very much appreciated being on the second floor. We had just about everything we needed kitchen wise, with linens, and and bedding. The corner spot was also great and we loved the balcony morning and night. For this with young kids, the property itself wasn’t as kid friendly as we were hoping. We were asked to keep our kids quiet at the pool, they couldn’t jump or throw a ball in the pool, and when we checked out the gym, we were asked to leave even with supervision. All rules were posted - we just didn’t realize the property was geared for those to soak and read or lay only. The beach was also a bit of a hike for young kids.l (ages 1-5). We are very active people but with the heat, we found the hike a bit much. Also - definitely be sure you have shoes to walk to the beach. The sand looks nice but it’s mostly crushed shells.

Trip to Marco

We have stayed at southseas several times. This unit was just okay. The condo was not cleaned well. Under the beds, furniture was very dirty, we even found a flossing pick neat the couch on the floor...yuck! Bathroom floors had hair on them. The kitchen needs a complete makeover and update. Old and dirty appliances, ceiling lights/plastic tiles were falling apart so you could see up into the ceiling. Needs to be equipped with more baking sheets, there weren't any until we went out and bought one; only 2 coffee cups, limited kitchen wash rags and towels....On the positive side, beds were very comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were updated. We had a wonderful view and great weather. Horizon Rentals was very good to work with. They reimbursed us for the baking sheet and even delivered kitchen towels for us. They also had Joe (nicest maintenance man ever) come out to spray for bugs, we had a few, and fix the shower curtain rod that was broken. Overall our stay was good! This unit would be great of They address some of the major issues.

Tigertail Beach Vacation

This property is located on Tigertail Beach with beautiful views of the beach, Gulf, and sunsets. The property was spacious and tastefully decorated, with an extensive wrap/around balcony that overlooked the beach. Unfortunately the pool was inaccessible for nine of the 21 days we were there, but the regular renters who have been coming for years said this was not the norm. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Unit and building could have been a tad cleaner. But the views more than made up for the negatives.

Beautiful view, bright and spacious

Wonderful stay at South Seas. The wrap around lanai and windows create a bright and airy space. The condo had everything we needed. There are plenty of beach chairs, towels and even a beach cart for use, which is a nice addition. Albeit, we had our own beach gear so did not use those items. The management company (Horizons) was great and very accommodating, which, sadly, is not always the case with other management companies. I wish we could have spent our entire stay in this condo, but it wasn’t available so we were in another condo at South Seas for the first four weeks. All that being said, you won’t be disappointed renting this condo

Nice place on a nice island.

Condo was nice. Comfortable furnishings and comfortable beds. The walk to the beach was close, but the ocean did take a while to get to. The views from the condo were great. With the exception of the check-in process, the $50 extra to park, and the set of 1983 keys that you have to take with you everywhere you go, it was a good trip.

Good stay with some things to note.

This property is about a 1/2 mile walk on the beach to the ocean. That is ok, but did make for some tired and somewhat angry adults having to haul chairs, umbrellas, snacks etc. When we did beach days we committed to the day, there wasn't much going back and forth to the condo because of that. I just wish I had been aware and prepared for that before. The condo and beach is fairly remote and not very many restuarants nearby or on the beach to enjoy. An ice cream and/or booze vendor would make a killing going up and down that area. Overall the unit was great and had all we needed except for a few items they were out of, like garbage bags. We had to wait a day to get beach towels bc there is only one set and they were being washed when we arrived. There is not shampoo/soap for showers either, again ok, just wish I had known before hand.

Can’t beat the view

Great condo, advertised accurately. Really beautiful location with wrap around porch, perfect for any time of day. Great spot for a family vacation. Kids loved the pool.

*No hot water....had to turn on our own hot water heater *check in staff rude (tower 3) * cleaning crew came twice upon request *Plaster dust from newly replaced windows evident throughout the unit *Injured foot on unfinished balcony cement *Communication about increased parking rate not provided before check in *Maintenance man that came to help us was awesome! *Our balcony View was spectacular!

Great location and views!

I chose this condo for the wraparound balcony and was not disappointed. The condo was light-filled from dawn to dusk and the views of the beach and sunset were wonderful. Sliding doors to the balcony from both bedrooms were great for us. Kitchen had everything needed. Furnishings basic but nice. A little disappointed that no nice common area in the building, merely a pass-thru to the condo.
