This was our first trip to Acadia National Park and it exceeded our expectations. The location of the house was about 10 minutes outside the Park and not much further to Bar Harbor. Set back in a woodsy area, the Fall color did not disappoint. The host was amazing, provided us with plenty of recommendations for hiking and restaurants, left us floral bouquets from the garden to enjoy, had plenty of games for the night we stayed in and included a well appointed kitchen. The property also included an outdoor shower and a fire pit.We enjoyed several hikes including Great Head Trail, Jordan Pond Path and Gorham Mountain Loop. Sand Beach and the sunset at Cadillac Mountain were beautiful. We'll be back!
