It was ok

Condo is not waterfront, but facing pool area. The group of condos are on the bay though. Could not get downstairs TV working, but finally got upstairs TV to work. Bed was not comfortable and pillows were like sandbags. Condo was clean. It seemed more like mostly residential condos. It was convenient to Ocean Springs.

Clean, pleasant, convenient place to stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. All accommodations were clean, and orderly. Quiet, off the beaten trail location. We made do but bath towels were very thin and flimsy. Also we were surprised to find a note in the door when we got there telling us that the next day our unit would have maintenance for pest control. The note said some time between 9 and 5. We called and cancelled this but would think this would not be done while guests are staying in the unit. Thought this was very inconsiderate. Otherwise, as above, we were pleased with our accommodations.

ok for us

We liked the location away from traffic but close to businesses & activities. My husband was able to fish but did have something stolen? (not sure if at boat landing or property) We were very disappointed with TV options: received 1 Mobile station for news no Biloxi. Did have HULU but found that a joke. Surprisingly we only stayed til the 28th & on the 27th we suddenly had local? Next door neighbor was negotiating for rental?? I sent Evolve & owner a complaint with no response right after we arrived. Neighbors friendly & we did our thing as they say.

Fantastic! Close to Family, etc.

We really felt like we were “home away from home”. Our kudos to the property owner! The unit is very nicely furnished, decorated and close to local attractions. And for us it was about 4 miles to my in-laws, so that made it especially convenient! And having the pull-out bed allowed us to keep our grand-sons on a couple nights and take them swimming before they went to bed. I especially like that I was able to make friends with Steve (two doors or units down) and have some good conversations with him.n He is looking forward to us renting the same unit next year! We are definitely considering renting that condo again next summer. I was especially impressed with the maintenance man Jon’s response to the broken blinds. When I called him about them in the morning, he admitted he knew about them. But in his defense he said the property stayed rented making repair difficult. That morning he called the owner and got the owners authorization for the repair and called me to let me know. I let him in at lunch time and he took the measurement for the replacement blinds. I called him later on to let him know I would not be hanging around and was going to dinner with family. As it turned out, he was getting them at Lowes at that time. I told him to just come in and replace them. When I got back from dinner the new blinds were in and they are much better quality than the old ones that were previously installed.

Review

Large cockroach in the entryway. Weird smell upon arrival. We weren't aware the only bedroom was upstairs. My husband couldn't go up. Weird old neighborhood. No view. We left within 10 minutes of arrival and paid premium to stay at a nicer place in Biloxi

Ocean springs condo

This area was very nice and close to the main areas we were visiting. The neighborhood was nice and quite felt very safe The only complaint I have is that the unit could have been much cleaner the floor was filthy! Didn't look like it had been mopped in years! The base boards are nasty looking too.

Peaceful Surroundings

Perfect for us. Very quiet in August. A few minutes from beach and most of all dog friendly! Beaches and most restaurants in Ocean Springs are dog friendly also. We are already booking for next year. Thanks.

Infested with cockroaches and terrible smell

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed and honestly, disgusted with our stay. Although the location was great and in a quiet area, it was not a good experience. As soon as we walked in, the smell was strong and terrible. It smelled as though animals used the rest room inside the condo and the scent was covered with a very strong and cheap air spray. The smell itself was nauseating. After walked in, there were multiple dead cockroaches. We gave the benefit of the doubt thinking someone hadn’t stayed in awhile but every time we left and came back or woke up in the morning, there were easily 8-10 more dead cockroaches around the condo. As we went upstairs, there was a dirty hair weave in the bedroom. I don’t typically leave reviews, especially negative. However, if I would have known this before booking out stay we would not have stayed here, especially with young kids. I do not recommend this stay until they are able to fumigate the cockroaches and deep clean the carpet and entire condo.

Weekend Getaway

Quick Valentines weekend getaway as in get away by ourselves. About an hour from our home. Condo was comfortable and clean and quiet. We watched some movies. They have 3 or 4 streaming services available. One parking spot which was fine for us except it was a little difficult getting our very large crew cab truck straight. We had some trouble with the keypad getting in. Delayed 20 minutes. Eat at Cap'n Al's. So good. Gulfport Aquarium was nice. No complaints.

After Labor Day weekend stay

Listing is pretty accurate. Bring your own toilet paper, it’s thin 😂. The pull put bed wasn’t the best, but they did provide an air mattress (which made my teen happy). The pool is right out the back door. The residents around were all super nice. The door handles and chairs at the table all could be tightened up for better stabilization. We would stay again. Wifi worked well. Cute and cozy.

Destinie

Quiet and close to Historic downtown

The condo itself was pretty basic. Air mattress and additional bedding was provided. Kitchen has basic supplies and also a Keurig! Very quiet community tucked in back of a neighborhood, nice neighbors! Putting green was cool to show our toddler, condition was poor. Swing was relaxing and gave a pretty view of marsh, but broken. The owners put together a book of recommendations, we went to east beach and that was neat. The historic downtown area is very small and full of; bars, restaurants and shopping. Overall it was a quaint weekend get away from New Orleans and we checked it off the list. Saved my negative comments for last... cleaning was basic as well, hair on bathroom floors and a plug in air freshener to cover the "old" smell of condo. Dead cockroach, and two live ones (1 in closet, 1 on shower curtain). Downstairs blinds are broken, upstairs sliding door is broken too. Could use a really good deep clean; wipe baseboards and dust all shelves.

location and safety

I sent a note to Evolve Management on Tuesday telling them I was leaving that day. The location was not good and I did not feel safe walking my pet. I only stayed one of the four nights that I booked.

A step back in time....

We were looking for a preview of what it would be like to retire to the Gulf area. That is what we got. The facility was dated and a bit worse for wear. The condo was comfortable and fairly clean. It had been updated. The supplies provided were limited and not in the best of condition. The location was off the beaten path. The complex was full of retirees. Not a lot of children around so pretty quiet. It was an adventure in living minimally.

I was not impressed. when we first walked in smelled musky and mildew. What I call clean it was not. the ceramic tile sticky. the carpet upstairs had stains all on it. I emailed owner twice never responded poor business. I will not be back here. I was ready to go home as soon as I got here. I stayed because of the money I spent. The bed up stairs is ok not great. So overall I made a bad choice for my money. You live and learn. Things are not as they appear to be. Fans were dusty.

The area wasn't hard to find. also easy access to eating and shopping area.

The biggest disappointment was the air condition in the main bedroom upstairs was not cooling at all! We spent most of our stay on the sofa bed downstairs ! Also the streaming on the television very poor! The picture stayed froze all weekend maybe due to excessive usage in the area! Hopefully this comment can be helpful for the next guest staying there! Thank you for your concern!

Nice for short stay

Condo was nice. The bed is small and hot upstairs. Other people at condo complex did not keep dogs on leash or pick up after they pooped.

Enjoyed our stay. If issue or question came up, owners were quick with a response. Quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly area. Parking spot right next to front door. Easy and quick access to beaches, restaurants, etc.
