The kitchen is well furnished and convenient. There are plenty of towels and blankets. Central air and ceiling fans make it very comfortable.

Great Stay

Moon Pie was an absolutely charming temporary vacation home. It was perfect for the two of us, as it would be with a small family. However, my wife and I agree that it would be a bit tight for four adults. We had one small equipment problem, which we told them wasn't a big deal, but they rectified it by the end of the day. I had read complaints of the construction crew on the house behind, they were there but caused no disturbances. Moon Pie's location was fantastic, a ten minute walk from anywhere. Ocean Springs is a darling town with so many shops and restaurants, you can't enjoy them all in one week. But you won't vbe disappointed in the places you visit.

House was clean and comfortable. Located about 2 1/2 blocks from Washington Ave. Especially enjoyed the very newly replaced front porch. Neighborhood was quiet. Moderate traffic during the day to almost none at night. Liked the shower (no tub) and the convenience of several hooks in the bathroom. Easy check-in and checkout. Property manager responded quickly to the one question we had..

3 days at Moon Pie Cottage

The cottage was clean and had a well stocked kitchen but we were disappointed that the front porch was not available to us as it was being replaced. Instead, we used the back porch but since there is a house being built in the backyard we found it to be a bit noisy and lacked privacy due to the construction crew. We liked the location and once these construction jobs are complete the cottage will be quite enjoyable.

Amazing stay!

We enjoyed our stay at MoonPie Cottage! It was the perfect place for our weekend stay in Ocean Springs! Beds were comfortable, it was clean and well stocked with towels, extra linens, etc. Super short walk to all the hot spots downtown. Property contact was easy to get in touch with and replied quickly to any questions we had! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely stay here again!

Comfortable cottage with the best location

My husband and I spent a week at Moon Pie cottage in March. There’s no end to things to do and experience in Ocean Springs! Our host graciously accommodated our request for an early check-in and was very responsive to our inquiries. We enjoyed cocktail time on the front porch, did some food prep in the well appointed kitchen, the appliances are clean and fairly new. A bonus was the washer/dryer that we weren’t expecting! The area is quite private and we felt safe walking the area both day and night. We’d love to return for another perfect weather spring visit!

Sweet and Bitter

We loved the cottage. Very clean and just what we needed for a romantic getaway. Easy walk to town. Great restaurants and shops! Great communication with owner.Unfortunately we were not told about the construction right next to us. So everyday we listened to Spanish music blasting and the banging of hammers and other construction noise. Could never sit out in the back yard.Even if you sat on the front porch you could hear it.I think that should have been told us when we booked.

Cute Cottage

The cottage was all we needed. We felt very at home there. The dog settled in right away which was a good thing. We will definitely book again if available when going to Biloxi.

Cute cottage but woken early

The Moon Pie cottage is in a great location close to downtown Ocean Springs. The house was clean and well cared for. I would have appreciated a heads up that a house was being built behind the cottage. We were awoken at 7 am by hammering and power saws and trucks blocked the driveway.

Dog urine smell is overwhelming

Check-in was super easy. The dog urine smell is overwhelming. It’s as if all the rugs have been saturated at one point or another. Overall, the house feels sort of gross and sticky, even while visibly clean. We were unable to make coffee without using a pot to heat water. The coffee maker takes only capsules that were not supplied. The thumbnail on the site is not part of the house. Mattresses were comfortable. We did get locked out (couldn’t remember the code), and the management were able to assist us straight away, which was great. We would not stay here again.
