Great New Braunfels Mini Vacation

So close to the river, we had a lovely and quiet float. We were also able to walk to the 2 hour float. The accommodations were perfect and communication was easy.

Loved the location and view of the river. Overall the condo was fine but not the most comfortable for sleeping when you’re required to leave the thermostat on 72. Also, just a suggestion, having queen beds as opposed to two double beds would be so much more comfortable as well.

Great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is very well appointed with ability to cook and serve eight people. Very good location on the river and close to the pool and across the street from Schlitterbahn. A public entrance to the river is available across the street as well toward the opposite direction of Schlitterbahn if you use your own tubes for about an hour plus river ride back to the camp warnecke exit.Room for improvement is that the balcony flooring needs a major cleaning as it is filthy. Also, the large skillet needs replacing or maybe even adding a griddle to fix breakfast for a larger crowd would be nice. The wristbands that are paper and flimsy should probably be replaced with something more like a silicone band to reuse as ours was very tattered and torn for a trip from Thursday through Tuesday for most of us. We had several adult children coming from different directions so they all had to park at the Chamber of Commerce parking. It was closer to an 8-10 minute walk just as an FYI. We will likely return to this unit at a future date with our group! Thank you!

We love to hear that ya'll had a great experience! Thank you for the honest feedback which we will bring to the owner. We can easily replace the large skillet and discuss with the owner buying a nice griddle. The wristbands used to be silicone but the new HOA has changed them back to paper. Unfortunately, wristbands as well as parking is not something we have much control over. We'd love to host you in the future and value your feedback!

Great stay at Camp Warnecke over July 4th. Great location for anyone that likes to tube the Comal. Unit was nice an spacious and well equipped. Keyless entry door lock makes everything easy. Already looking forward to going back next year.

Great Stay

Location was excellent, we came in Wuestfest. Shuttle right outside property. Condo was clean and comfy. Everything that was needed was available to us. Would stay again and recommend this property.

Awesome stay and a little advice

The condo was amazing and right across the street fro Schlitterbaun. The river is out back and there is river access right there. If you intend to go to both Schlitterbaun parks, you need 2 days. Also, there are apparently free tube rentals with the condo, but we couldn’t figure out how to get them. It’s was a lot of fun regardless.

Perfect Location!

We loved staying in this condo. It was very clean and perfect location to everything! We could walk downtown and sit on the balcony watching the river! Would definitely stay her again!

GREAT LOCATION AND SETUP

This was our family’s first Vrbo rental and it really couldn’t have been a smoother, more enjoyable experience. It’s walking distance to downtown New Braunfels and provides immediate access to the river. We stayed during what was obviously the river’s off-season, but having the view outside our windows was still a great feature. The communication with the rental company was great, from pre-trip questions to a maintenance addressed during our stay (thanks, Kate). The unit was accurately described also, there were no surprises or disappointments when we arrived. I highly recommend this property and plan to book it again next year.

Quiet Riverfront Property

The stay was wonderful. The porch door looked out over the Comal River. All the rooms were clean and well stocked. Spacious showers were a plus. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come down.

The double beds are actually doubles, not queens. Our balcony had a great view of the river. The pool was crystal clear and the hot tub...not so hot on a summer day. We usually stay at Opas Haus, but CW is in a prime location too...but has all the amenities you dont get with a house.

Was awesome location and was exactly as described.

Only one knock having to keep the ac above 72 when I accustomed to 68 while I sleep was a bummer. But easily overlooked with the view and location. Will stay again.
