Sandwich Private Beach Getaway for multiple families!!!

CapeingItReal! A family’s dream beach getaway -year-round!

Beautiful home and plenty of space to host one large or two small families. This charming cape colonial sits within Sandwich Downs and is just a short walk or quick golf cart ride to the private association beach. We provide the golf cart! Not to mention, the property sits on an acre lot with beautiful landscaping and lots of privacy. There is also an outdoor bar with heaters, a sports court for basketball lovers, and an outdoor shower. New fire pit coming for summer pics to follow! Other perks include central air, washer/dryer, dishwasher, water filtration system, Peloton bike, beach chairs and corn hole boards.

This 2500+ square foot home features 4 bedrooms on the second floor; one bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bottom/twin top, one bedrooms has a full bed and twin bunk beds, and there are two rooms with queen beds. There’s a full bathroom upstairs as well.

The first floor features a Master Bedroom with a King-sized bed, adjacent to a master bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower and laundry. It is also attached to an office space that is furnished with a crib.

Additional first-floor features include an original eat-in kitchen that has been recently upgraded, while still keeping that Cape Cod charm and design from a local builder. Open concept informal dining room and living room with stone hearth fireplace is the perfect place to gather after a lovely day at the beach, or after spending the day downtown exploring Sandwich and the rest of Cape Cod’s charm.

A newly renovated basement suite includes an additional bedroom with a full bed, a futon, a desk, and a full bathroom this is perfect for older children, grandparents, or bringing a sitter along.

A few helpful things I like to call out before your stay, we do not provide sheets and towels. Our house document that will be sent to you upon booking highlights this information and provides recommendations.

In addition, we do not allow any pets or service animals. This is stated in my property description and lease and will be considered a violation of the house policies. Thank you for your understanding.

Dream cape getaway

Our group had the best time staying here. The location, easy beach access (thank you golf cart), and the sprawling backyard with a basketball court really made this is the perfect house for us. There are plenty of rooms for families and friends to be comfortable and the common areas are great for hanging all together. Johannah was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for a Family

We truly enjoyed our stay. We had two families with four littles under 6 as well as two grandparents. This place was great for all of us and we recommend it if looking for a place for multiple families and kids. The kids had so much fun in their rooms which were very close to the two bedrooms upstairs with queen beds for the parents. The grandparents enjoyed their first floor king bed. A bathroom was on each floor. There were toys/activities for the kids- they especially loved the basketball court. The fire pit was awesome for the adults after the littles were in bed. One issue we had was we didn’t realize sheets and towels were not included. The host said they would add it to the written description so future guests wouldn’t also be confused. Overall, we had a great stay!

We are a family of four, my husband and I are from Massachusetts and have lived in New Hampshire with our two kids for 13 years. I was always an ocean girl growing up with North shore beaches and fell in love with the Cape. We had been looking for a place to call a second home and when we found this place we both knew it was the right fit. We have been going for years and there are our go-to things we do every trip and then we explore something new too! I am so delighted to share this special place with you.

Why they chose this property

My husband grew up going to this neighborhood and his friends and extended family own a few properties as well. When I first visited when my children were just babies I immediately fell in love with it. It is a parent's dream when they have two babies to not pack up the car to drive to the beach! I loved that I can walk home for their nap or anything they might have forgotten is just a quick walk or golf cart ride away. We also don't live in a neighborhood like this at home, so I love that we can all go for walks or bike rides too. There is so much to explore and enjoy in the cape as my kids get older but I hope you will fall in love with this little peace of heaven like we did!

What makes this property unique

This beach is truly private, and is never busy! Bonus that you can get a pizza delivered to the beach lot to enjoy sunset and amazing sand bars at low tide. We also have a large private yard with plenty to do for all ages. We have a sport court with an adjustable basketball hoop, a heated outdoor bar area, two seating areas for dining, custom corn hole boards and a brand new fire pit to enjoy in the evenings.
