Super spacious place with great rooms - was perfect for our fam. We loved being so close to the park across the street and spent time there daily with kiddos. Host was very responsive and helped resolve issues. The place could use soap, bath mat and a few more dishes and a slightly better check when cleaning. But overall had a great stay
Overall the place was good. Clean and accurate description from the listing. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to have a hairdryer and shampoo/conditioner basics. I know it’s not listed on the amenities, just would make the stay easier. Be mindful that there’s a fire station one block down. Between the firetrucks and other music, nighttime wasn’t super quiet. Host was very responsive to questions - WiFi wasn’t listed where it was supposed to be. Host answered messages timely.
We had a girls weekend and the home was spacious and clean. Parking can be challenging but it all worked out. Many stairs so be prepared. Would stay here again!
Stayed for work for a month and it was great. Would definitely recommend and would book again when in town for work. Cool spots nearby. Great walkable neighborhood.
We needed a place to stay while my son was at Barnes Hospital. We originally only booked it for a week, when i contacted the owner and asked if we could extend it another 5 days he was very accommodating and exteneded it for me. I would definitely recommend staying here. The place was amazing!
Location is close to wherever you will go downtown. Property management is super attentive and helpful (went above and beyond for us when we had some trouble that had nothing to do with the property). If you want to cook you will need to bring extra supplies most likely. Felt like plenty of room for a family of eight.
I enjoyed the stay, everything i need3d was within a short distance. The steps as many was a suprise and the alley or street parking was not the greatest. It was comfortable.
We rented this with friends who were coming in to do the STL thing. We are local, but our place is too small to have friends stay longer than overnight...this space was PERFECT! The kitchen and living room were one big space, allowing us to make drinks and hang out together when in. Going out, we hit drinks at the Angad Arts Hotel, concert at the Sheldon, toured the Fox Theater, and spent a day at the City Museum...all close to this space, made travel a breeze. If you love city living, don't mind living in city spaces, you will love this space.

Vacation getaway
No personal parking space as stated. Had to walk down a dark alley and up 3 flights of stairs to get to VRBO. Communication from property owner had to be prompted. Overall aesthetics of property is beautiful. Artwork is interesting and a little vulgar for children. Bunkbeds was a nice plus. Did not expect to be beside a fire station hearing sirens non stop. For this property to accommodate 8 people, there are not enough dishes. Upon check out, property owner came in asking us when we would be leaving because we were supposed to be gone at 9 when checkout stated 11. We felt like we were an inconvenience and shoved out the door.
3 of us stayed in the apartment for a month during an internship around Central West End. The property was very clean & well maintained upon arrival, as pictured. Although at times we had to follow up to get a reply the rental manager addressed our queries and made sure things were running smoothly. Some of us were limited in transportation without a car but the location was generally well connected to city centre via bus; area doesn’t feel the most safe so if walking through the neighborhood maintain alertness. Only complaint is that the ventilation system appears to be linked with the apartments below and whenever others in the building smoke the smell permeates the apartment, something to be mindful in case you’re sensitive to this.

Stay in Benton Park
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, very spacious, has great natural light, and is located very close to Benton Park. We were some of the first guests, and know that some of our experience (re: cleanliness, lack of basic supplies we usually see at VRBOs and ended up purchasing) may understandably be attributed to a new rental, as we were some of the first guests. The apartment is located off of a busy thoroughfare in a commercial building, with a back alley entrance (not on a residential street), which we didn't realize when booking. We may have missed in the listing but also didn't realize it's located on the third floor. Given the location and the stairs, it's bit more challenging with small kids or older adults. Outside of that, it was great to be near a park and restaurants. Would be a decent option for a larger group as there are plenty of sleeping accommodations. Very friendly and accommodating neighbors who let us use their parking spot during our stay which made unloading and accessing our easier.

Unit was not as presented online. Photos did not match description. Bunkbed in room where photo showed standard bed. No toaster present. Promised dedicated parking space was sometimes occupied and host did not respond to request for help with matter. Finishing were falling off, lighting cuts on and off unexpectedly.
