Unwind in our multi-level retreat, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a gourmet kitchen, and serene master suites with enchanting lake views. Designed to accommodate large groups, this spacious home boasts six bedrooms, and offers a total of 11 beds, ensuring privacy and comfort. Indulge in the great outdoors with our private dock, a hot tub, and delightful amenities, all set against the backdrop of Tim's Ford Lake.

Other things to note
Tim’s Ford Lake is generated by a dam. The water level does fluctuate and goes down usually in October, and rises again around April. You can visit TVA’s website for current water levels. While the property does have a dock, when the water level is down, it may not be accessible depending on the steepness of the gangway ( the bridge to the dock) However, there is still great water views and you can relax and even fish off the pier.
This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. If you are looking for a place to party this would not accommodate your needs.
In order to fully enjoy our lake home we ask that you be at least 25 years old.

We hope you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you choosing our home for your visit. Check out time is 10 am. The cleaners will be there to prepare the home for the next guest.
Please close all umbrellas on the dock, put paddles back in the deck box, and roll Lilly pad back up and secure to dock.
Starting a load of towels is appreciated when possible, but not required.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful, unique property. Lots of spaces to spread out. Gorgeous views of the lake from all the main rooms. Great location both on land and water. Terrific dock with tons of seating. Lovely cove.

The house and location were great and as advertised. Plenty of space for large families with kids. Bedrooms are spacious. The cove it is located on is quiet and one of the best on the lake. Melissa is a great host! Access to the garage and the boat dock was very helpful. We have added this house to our short list of favorite properties on the lake. We will be back again!

Beautiful House for a Lake Vacation

This house was a great spot for our group of 13 to take a lake vacation! The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We spent our days boating, playing on the water, enjoying the dock & paddle board and ended most days with the hot tub. Highly recommend!

We loved the whole property! I was afraid the water would be too cold or water level too low, but our entire family enjoyed kayaking , paddle boarding, and even jumping from the second deck! The hot tub was a great way to wind down and relax at the end of the day! My teenager enjoyed having his own space to hide away when needed!

Well equipped home with great lake location.

Property was beautiful. Plenty of room for our family of 11. The chiminea was a nice setting. Dock and lake crafts were so fun. Only complaint was the abundance of spiderwebs which prevented us from sitting on the decks. Would rent again.

In 14 years of annual "family lake weeks" this is one of the best properties we've ever rented, and only the 2nd we've ever wanted to return to! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and very well-appointed; it's obvious the host has put a lot of thought into anticipating her guests' needs and we wound up not needing a lot of the "essentials" we brought ... especially in the kitchen!The double-decker dock was definitely the highlight for us, as about the only times the grandkids weren't jumping, diving, swimming, and fishing were mealtimes and when we were out boating. It's in a lovely deep cove with little boat traffic, and having use of a covered slip and a jet ski port made it easy to get on & off the water. There are a lot of stairs to & from the dock, but several landings to sit and rest made it manageable for us old folks.We also enjoyed watching the deer - there's a herd in the neighborhood that seem pretty comfortable around people; it's an unusual treat to sit on the front porch and watch a group of does & fawns calmly grazing on the lawn less than 20' away.Notes for next time:There's shopping (WM Supercenter) 10 minutes away, no need to bring a lot of food/supplies.The (excellent) public boat ramp is only 5 min away by car, 20 by boat, less if your boat is faster than ours!City Liquor has by far the best beer selection in town!Kudos to Melissa for making everything smooth & easy - we had an outstanding week, and look forward to returning next year!

Nice Home for a Family Visit

The house is in a nice neighborhood and easily accessible. It was just the right setup for our group. The house is well stocked and maintained. It also has a nice view. The owner was wonderful to work with. We were there during winter and didn’t get to enjoy the lake because the water level was low. Hopefully we can rent the house again during summer!

90th birthday

Spent five days celebrating my mother‘s 90th birthday! Melissa and Linton sent my mom flowers, treats & a cake! Mom enjoyed the beautiful views and the very comfortable accommodations. The rest of the group thoroughly enjoyed the dock, the lake and all the other great amenities. There are stairs inside and out-so may not be great for someone with mobility issues, however I highly recommend and we hope to be back soon.

I love being in nature and getting outdoors! We love our home at Tim’s Ford Lake and decided after 4 years of keeping her to ourselves, we would finally share her love. We love it here and hope you love it too. There is an instant peace I find when I am here. I love lounging in the hammock, or sunning on the upper dock while my family enjoys soaking up the sun on the floating lily pad.

Why they chose this property

We love how quiet and peaceful our neighborhood is. We fell in love with feeling like we were a world away all while being only minutes to town. The cove is not heavily populated and not a tremendous amount of boats passing by, so it makes for great swimming off the dock, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

What makes this property unique

Our home has gorgeous views of the lake from most rooms in the house. We have floor to ceiling windows in several rooms which make you feel like you are right on top of the water. The unique railings in the home give the feeling of being on a luxury cruise ship, hence the name, Captain’s Quarters.
