Nice Home, Great Location

This is a really nice home in an absolutely fantastic location. It's an flat easy walk just 5 blocks to the beach, so there was no fighting or paying for parking, even on the busy weekend. The location made it worth the stay all on it's own. The house itself was also very nice and reasonably well stocked for a rental. There were plenty of bath towels (no beach towels) and the kitchen had plenty of the standard items we needed to cook and eat during the week. The house is spacious and worked well for our group of 7. We thought two largest beds were much too soft for our liking. They both had a thick layer of foam in addition to the mattress that I think some people would probably like, but all of our adults thought they were far too soft as we sunk significantly when laying down. Probably a personal preference, but something to consider if you need a supportive mattress. We did have a couple of maintenance issues, and although there was some confusion about who we needed to talk to for various things, we did eventually get the support we needed and the critical item was addressed quickly. As noted in listing, the house does not have AC, so the upstairs got very hot in the afternoon heat of our July stay (82+ inside). We opened all the windows after the heat broke to cool the house in the evening, but most of the windows had no screens, so a number of moths and other bugs flew into the house while the windows were open. Overall, would recommend and stay here again.
