This house was perfect for us travelling as a young family, with lots of equipment for children/babies being readily available. Our daughter also loved the many toys and games that were already there, so we settled very quickly! The location is brilliant, with all the activities of Monterey and Carmel within 15 mins drive.
Had an amazing time here with my family. We brought our 2 year old and had everything we needed here to feel comfortable. The hosts are super sweet and responsive and did everything to make us comfortable on our vacation. Will definitely rebook this place again.
The house was quiet but small. The main bedroom had a small bed for 2. The second bedroom was a kids room. It was Ok, but not the most comfortable. It was convenient and the kitchen was well stocked. The washer & dryer worked fine. I enjoyed the back deck. Overall a good choice.
This property was perfect for our weekend trip to Monterey for an extended family reunion. It was close to our family gatherings and to the activities planned in Monterey. Shopping and food are also close by. Great communication by our host. It was an easy check-in using a keybox with a code. Thank you!
The house was well stocked for what my family need. The beds where comfortable.

Why they chose this property
Seaside is a unique area of Monterey Bay, with a history that includes people from all walks of life coming together on the peninsula. Seaside has excellent authentic food from all over owing to its great diversity of people. Our neighborhood is very family friendly with three playgrounds nearby. Fort Ord is also at the top of the hill and features endless hiking and biking trails overlooking the bay.
What makes this property unique
When we first started staying at vacation rentals with our young kids, we found most places to be very unkid friendly--if they even allowed kids. One of our goals is to make our place as family friendly as possible. At our home, you'll find all the essentials: baby monitor, high chair, kids utensils and plates, and childproofing. You'll also find the fun stuff: toys, games, and a little playhouse in the front yard. The property is completely fenced in, so parents can rest assured that kids can't wander off. Meanwhile, our cozy place is quiet in the evenings, and you'll find blackout curtains to keep out the sunlight on those long summer nights for a good night's sleep.
