Nice place to stay in Alexandria

Quiet, comfortable older apartment. Nice amenities--big refrigerator, great TV, wi-fi, etc. Close to town.

Clean, comfortable. All cleaning products available to use if needed plus all utensils and crockery. A pair of scissors would be useful in the kitchen plus a couple of placemats to protect the kitchen table and work top. Kitchen floor covering needs attention for safety reasons. Plenty of room in the lounge but could do with another small coffee table.Shower room well stocked with personal cleaning products and shampoo.

Lovely ground floor flat with car parking outside. The flat is clean and comfortable with a lovely well equipped kitchen. Ideally situated as close to supermarkets, shops and local transport. Just 5 minutes drives to Loch Lomond and surrounding areas. Owner very easily contactable. Will stay again when l return to thr area

Just what we needed.

After staying at bnb's all over the UK for the last 4 weeks, this is what we wanted, some space to stretch out. A seperate large living area and the fully equiped kitchen was great . Also walking distance to supermarkets, town and train station. A shame it was only for 2 nights. Thanks Tim . Well done.

The host with the most.

Despite a rocky start, due largely to Vrbo’s handling of the information supplied by the host, we enjoyed the beautiful, well-equipped flat. The host was always available to answer questions and correct the misinformation. For future users it is worth noting that the Coop, Aldi and Iceland are all within walking distance of the flat. Balloch country park is a short drive from the property with boat and seaplane trips available. Around the beautiful local Lochs, parking is mostly free and one sees many families enjoying BBQs on the open areas which are provided with picnic tables.

Inside ok outside not

The flat is in an old building with depressing outside views over a car park and a shabby house at the back and Its situated on a very busy road with constant traffic all day at the front. The boiler is situated in a cupboard in the small bedroom and came on several times during the three nights we had paid for.. Not conducive to getting a good nights sleep. Only four ( two each) soft pillows, no headboard so not comfortable to sit and read in bed.. Overall a satisfactory flat but as a holiday destination did not meet our expectations.

Sorry to hear that you had higher expectations for Alexandria. It is a small town very close to the much sort after Loch Lomond which has a huge amount to offer tourists and visitors. Our price point is for guests that do not want to spend fortunes to get the high end hotels with views of the beautiful loch and surrounding countryside (for which you would be spending 3 times more per night). Unfortunately the headboard got broken we decided not replace it, I’m sorry that 2 pillows each was not enough. Wishing you all the best.

Schöne Wohnung für zwei Personen. Sehr netter Vermieter, der auch immer schnell geantwortet hat. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist super um rund um den Loch Lomond die Gegend zu erkunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Mooi ruim geheel. Aparte keuken, woonkamer en slaapkamer. Keuken goed voorzien om te koken. Jammer was dat de pannen en servies niet echt schoon waren. Eerst voor gebruik alles afgewassen. Keukenvloer kon een dweilbeurt gebruiken. Lidl was vlakbij, voor de boodschappen.

Perfect appartement voor 2 personen

De flat is met zorg ingericht en is van alles voorzien (alleen een haardroger heb ik niet gevonden). Je kan te voet naar de supermarkt en er is voldoende parkeerplaats vlakbij. Goed bed en heel rustig. Goede en vlotte communicatie met de eigenaar. Het overtrof onze verwachting en is zeker een aanrader. Goed bed
