The place is great & was very clean, about a 15 min walk from the train station. It was a great price & convenient for our short stay. I would recommend it.

The location makes it perfect for hopping on and off public transport, or for walking, to many of Glasgow's sightseeing locations. There are quite a few local places to eat, serving good food that are close by. Nigel and Nadia provide a clean, well appointed small annex apartment that was comfortable for my husband and I. A closet with built in shelves and hangers made the small bedroom roomier, since it allowed a place to put our bags and hang clothes. The electric kettle with coffee and tea was a nice touch, and the beautiful garden gave us a place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Lovely, quiet rooms. 20 minute walk from the Partick subway station. Kettle for tea and coffee in the cosy living room was nice. Bring an eye mask- the white/yellow curtains in the bedroom are light. Thanks for having us.

Just outside the centre, which is ideal. Not far from the ring road, but I haven't been inconvenienced. Very quiet neighbourhood. Perfect as a starting point.

Cozy and Convenient Stay

Very easy to get to the bus and everywhere we wanted to go. We felt safe and comfortable here. The hosts are lovely and helpful. The places in Glasgow are fantastic but the people are even better. Stop by The Glasgow Art Club exhibition if it’s on.

Great!

It was a great place. Bedroom, Bathroom, and Sitting Room. I felt perfectly comfortable the entire time I was there. It’s a great place to stay, not too far from the city with easy access to multiple bus stops. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

What a gem of a holiday rental room. It was a real bonus having a separate sitting room. And being able to sit in such a beautiful garden Space was lovely. We ate outside one night. Just a 10 minute walk to the buses that we used all the time going in and out of the city and also to the airport. And also just at that location is the great Thornwood pub, convenience store, and take out Chinese. The hosts have done a lovely job of turning this into a beautiful rental. We would definitely stay there again. And we appreciate it being just half an hour out of the city. In my opinion, much nicer than staying in the city.

Beautiful clean suite. The desk/tv/seating area was like having my own den looking out at a garden full of green and flowers. There were fresh flowers from the garden in the bedroom. The suite was quiet and relaxing. Nigel was an excellent host. The neighbourhood was interesting and walkable. Restaurants, grocery and take out were a 5 minute walk away. There was a parķ 1 minute walk away. The transportation links were excellent. I arrived in downtown Glasgow by bus. The city busshared thsame terminal. I took one city bus to a stop just a 8 minute walk to the property. The same bus stop was where I boarded a bus to the airport. This is a gem. I would definitely stay here again.

Stay

Great stay. You might have included directions about how to get to the nearest bustop on Dumbarton. It would have been great to leave my luggage somewhere an hour or two earlier. As it was, waited 2 hours at airport after my flight arrived at noon. An occasional bit of flexibility required in certain circumstances. Accommodation suited me nicely.

You get what it says. A bedroom and bathroom and small sitting area. But, that is all we needed. Very clean. Nice garden area for sitting. Only negative is matress needs boxboard or plywood. The spring matress would pop thru the slats. But, otjerwise wonderful place. Thank you Nigel and Nadia for sharing your Beautiful home!

Comfortable, Clean and Spacious

I booked the room for my son, as he had drama school auditions in Glasgow. He was so happy and comfortable, and he had plenty of practice space. The owners were friendly and unobtrusive. They even let me know that he had forgotten an item. Unfortunately, my son had already flown to his next audition. He was able to be very well rested for both of his callbacks. Highly recommend.

Good location

We recommend this property and would stay again. We were toastie but the hosts helpfully provide heaters to use as needed. The annex was bijou but perfectly fine for we two. We also fell foul of not reading the listing properly on booking and re-reading the week before, read there weren't any kitchen facilities. As a suggestion, maybe it would be worth providing a small hotel-style fridge with ice box. Also, a voile or similar on the front door for privacy. Thanks Nigel & Nadia for a good week!

Well situated small apartment with lovely garden

Everything went smoothly during our visit. The bedroom is small, so for two people getting to and from the wardrobe can be challenging if both moving around at the same time. Please note that there is no kitchen (I didn't read the property description fully!) however tea and coffee and kettle are provided. The garden with garden chairs and table would have been an excellent place to sit and chat had the weather been more clement.

: Logement propre et agréable. Produits de d'hygiène (gel douche, lingettes, dentifrices...) sont fournis avec serviettes. La salle de bain est récente et beaucoup de rangement sont disponibles dans la chambre.- : Les portes en générale ne se ferment pas correctement, le parquet de la chambre/couloir craquent bruyamment et la porte donnant sur le logement des propriétaires n'est pas bien isolée. Un micro-ondes et un petit frigo seraient les bienvenus.On recommande ce logement !

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung war schön geräumig. Da wir in der Nacht ankamen war der Eingang etwas schwer zu finden, doch es war von den Gastgebern gut beschrieben. In der Wohnung war es ein bisschen kühl, also am besten Hausschuhe oder dicke Socken mitbringen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und die Kommunikation war sehr einfach. .

Perfect small apartment...

Nigel and Nadia were very friendly and helpful hosts. The property was perfect for my needs, on business trip to Glasgow, plenty of good eating and drinking establishments nearby. With buses and subway nearby easy to reach the centre and other parts of Glasgow. I would happily recommend this property and use again.
