Brand new cottage! This cottage is centrally located off of Kootenai Cutoff, 10 miles to Schweitzer Ski Resort, 3 miles to downtown Sandpoint and City Beach, and less than a mile from Highway 95. The cottage is surrounded by shops, coffee stands, Walmart, restaurants, and other conveniences. The cottage faces McNearney Park - the perfect place for children to run about while you watch them from the front porch. Fireplace, study, granite countertops, full laundry room, boot dryers, ski rack+!

Had a great stay. House was in a convenient location between Sandpoint and local family. Our kids loved having a park across the street. The kitchen was stocked well to make meals and the place was very clean! Had one issue with the garage door toward the end of the stay which is the only reason it got 4 stars.

Family Ski Trip

This place was perfect for our yearly ski trip. Easily accommodated 6 adults. The house is new with all new furnishings. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Garage access was nice for our ski stuff. The address did show up on maps but the directions got us there easily.

Fantastic Stay

We needed a place to stay near Sandpoint as we were visiting some friends of the family for a few days. This place was perfect. It's a newly constructed two story 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home located in Ponderay. The home was spotless and everything was brand new. There was a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. There was a Walmart located nearby. We were able to drive up to Schweitzer Mountain.

Perfect location with lots of amenities. So many fun things for families to do in the complex. The kitchen was great for cooking for large family gathering. Management is wonderful and very responsive. Grill doesn’t cook well. The backyard pool is wonderful and fenced in. Neighbors are very close, we could easily chat with them over the fence so not a place for anyone wanting space or privacy. The beach is a short walk away. Beach chairs are 55/day and you do have to purchase a wrist band if you want the public pool, so just be prepared for pricy amenities outside of the home. Just read the instructions closely when you check in! They literally leave one roll of toilet paper and one garbage bag and one dishwasher pod. The kitchen has lots of furnishings but is completely cleared of things like salt and coffee filters between stays. So it feels like a new home when you check in, but you need to be prepared to bring or buy everything a house needs for the stay. The good thing is they communicate this clearly, as long as you read everything so you’re not surprised. There is a Wal-Mart 15 minutes away that does delivery!

(A kitchen is a must!) Having lived all over the world, we decided to settle in Sandpoint because it is a one-of-a-kind town with all of the beauty of the northwest. The city and the lake are beautiful!
