Relajante Vista al lago casa en las montañas de San Diego (Cuyamaca / Julian)

Hermosa casa completamente abastecida con una vista increíble del lago Cuyamaca cerca de la histórica ciudad minera de oro de Julian. La casa cuenta con dos camas queen y 4 camas individuales. Una gran cocina y el comedor es ideal para cocinar y reunir con acceso directo a la cubierta de madera roja que se extiende la longitud delante de la casa, ideal para disfrutar de las vistas sin obstáculos. Tanto el dormitorio principal y el loft tienen vistas al lago. Una chimenea se puede encontrar en la sala de estar, junto con una televisión de alta definición, reproductor de DVD y sistema de audio de sonido envolvente con soporte para iPod. Si bien tenemos HDTV por aire, no tenemos servicio de cable / antena parabólica o internet. Pero casi no lo necesita, porque en el sótano se encuentra la sala de juegos, donde todo el mundo quiere pasar su piscina tiroteo tiempo, jugando al hockey de aire, futbolín, un sistema de juego de Super Nintendo vintage, o muchos de los juegos de mesa. Los niños más pequeños les encantará la creación de juegos de trenes Brio gigantes o el uso de su imaginación, ya que construir mundos de fantasía con los cubos de juguetes disponibles para ellos.

Una lavadora y secadora también se encuentran en el sótano.

La cocina está totalmente equipada con todos los utensilios y aparatos estándar. Ropa de cama también se proporcionan para su uso.

We have stayed at many VRBO listings in different places from the South to the west coast. This is absolutely the most beautiful homes we have stayed at. Great location. Amazing view. Loved the game room.

Game room had a pool table, foosball table, and an air hockey table. There were video games and toys. There was always something for the kiddos to do.

Great spot to relax

We’ve stayed here multiple times and always have a great time. It’s clean, comfortable and has lots to do for all ages. If you are looking for a spot to get away near Julian, we’d highly recommend the hideaway.

Great getaway near Julian

Loved the house, nice and clean with lots of amenities. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed walking near the lake. The kids loved the game room!

This house was perfect for the family trip! The location is gorgeous you can see the lake from so many windows in the house! The game room was a great family treat! Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing time!

This place is AMAZING! This is our second year renting this get away and my family love’s it here. The game room is what my kids love the most ,they have everything you need. The owner were very responsive and gave us a lot of good tips since it was snowing. Till next year Hansen property!

Spectacular lake retreat

We celebrated my 60th birthday at this lovely and spacious home with a gorgeous view of Lake Cuyamaca. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and hiking on the many nearby trails. Instructions were ample and easy to follow. I hope to return in the future.

Great Place to Get Away

We loved staying at this home. Wonderful lake view, and well equipped home. Kitchen has plenty of what is needed and we had more than enough towels for five us. The downstairs game room was a lot of fun. The trip to Julian is short and having the trails walkable distance away was perfect! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

wonderful place

This place is great for everyone, but ideal for families. It is updated, clean, and very comfortable. The views from the deck are incredible. And the basement game room kept the kids happy and entertained whenever we had some downtime. Just make sure you download your digital music, no streaming up here. :)

Lakeside bachelor getaway

We arrived to find the perfect location for our weekend of celebrating our friend's last days as a bachelor. The cabin was nestled on the hillside with an inspiring sweeping view of Lake Cuyamaca and surrounding mountains. At night, billions of stars shine bright and the Milky Way is seen streaking across the abyss of space. The cabin comes with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend and we appreciate the Hansen's for having us at their humble hillside home. It was such a fun time at the perfect lakeside spot!!

Wow! Even better than expected. Great Time!

The cabin / house was clean, the host was outstanding in regard to response and requests. Towels, coffee, plates bowls, TP, PT, everything was there, even soap and shampoo. Thank you! Look forward to staying there again, great time. The game room could use better lighting over the Foose ball table and the air hockey table. Other than that, Great Place!

Amazing place!

We had such a blast at the Hansen cabin. It's even more awesome than the photos... Check in was a breeze and the owners were quick to answer any questions by text. The view of the lake is fantastic and we spent some lovely moments on the deck just relaxing. I was grateful for the big kitchen and comfy beds, while the kids enjoyed the big TV and the game room (which is waaayy bigger and has more games than the photos show). Only downside was having to pack out our trash, but with the trash compactor we got it down to a reasonable size, so it was really no problem. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

Everything was great about this rental but the garbage that we had to dispose of. We flew in and we were told we had to dispose of the garbage. How does that work? The closest place the we even saw was 20 miles away. Garbage should be included in price. I paid alot of money to stay there for three nights and I should not have had to deal with that!

Cute mountain cabin

The cabin worked out perfectly for us and we had a great stay! We had 4 adults, one toddler and an infant. There was plenty of room in the downstairs bunk room for a pack and play for the toddler and room upstairs for a bassinet for the infant. The kitchen was well stocked w pots/pans/etc for cooking. The front porch and living room has beautiful views of the lake and nearby mountains. There's a large game room in the basement which was a fun bonus, and also stocked w plenty of kid toys in addition to the game tables. The upstairs has a large tub (not whirlpool). All the beds were comfy, and there were plenty of large cozy towels in the bathrooms. The driving directions provided are very clear but Google maps tries to take you a little past the turn off for the driveway before the dirt road so can be easy to miss. Check in was easy w a keypad door. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area :)

Unkept & Unhealthy Property Uncaring Host

Told host in advance we were grandparents traveling with son, daughter in law and two grandchildren (ages 1 and 5). Arrived to find no sheets on any beds. Texted host. She said we had been notified of that and then back peddled and said we had not been notified. Made the beds ourselves. 6 beds including 4 bunk beds! (see pics) Deck and chairs where we were to watch "gorgeous" views from was covered in rat feces (see pics.). Lots of it!! Hosts text message response when we asked her to send someone to clean it up : "You are welcome to wipe them down. My husband and I are out for the evening. We are done with this conversation at this point and will refund you 25.00. I will not be responding anymore tonight. Have a lovely weekend." Needless to say, we did not go near the deck. BBQ grill was in a patch of dirt and was full of debris and who knows what. (see pic). We had to cook inside.After bringing all this to the hosts attention, we were told we could leave and she would give us a refund. Where were we supposed to go? Was she going to pay for our time, gas, food inconvenience and disappointment? You have to bring your trash home. Host says there is no trash collection but we saw a dumpster at a house on the same street so this is not true.Furnishings, bedding and kitchenware are old and dingy (see pics). Required you buy insurance policy if any of these items are damaged.Cheaply run. Uncaring host. Look elsewhere!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Exactly like the listing. Clean, peaceful, lots of fun things in the basement for the kiddos (we have a 2 and 6 yr old). Went to the restaurant nearby and it had good food. Went geocaching one day and drove to Julian for the day - The whole family had a blast! We will stay here again when there is snow in the driveway, for sure!

Hello! We are Lori and Jeremy Hansen. We live about an hour away from this property with our three children who range in age from 16 through 22. When we're not busy with kids or work, we enjoy visiting the cabin for some peace and quiet and to just 'unplug' if only for a couple of days.

This property has been in Jeremy's family for almost 50 years - since the early 1970s. It's been witness to several generations of Hansen kids' visits, engagements, and honeymoons. It is a very special place to all of us.

We started renting it as a weekend vacation destination in the mid-90s but lost the original structure in the Cedar Fire of 2003 that ravaged Southern California and much of the Cuyamaca hillside.

By 2007, construction of the new and improved cabin was complete. We took some more time to furnish and decorate it just right. Once we felt it was ready to share, we resumed renting it. We are experienced hosts and we are excited to share our property with you!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Located above Lake Cuyamaca, the property offers a breath-taking view of the lake and Fletcher Island. The lake is within walking distance, where you can rent a row boat, motor boat, pedal boat; go fishing; enjoy lunch or dinner at the lake's restaurant; picnic; not to mention take one of the myriad of hiking trails and enjoy nature!

Nearby are the Laguna Mountains where, in late winter, snow is often blanketing the ground and providing you with opportunities to sled and build snowmen. The cabin sits at an elevation of 4,600ft which is often high enough for snow, as well. We have an excellent driveway for sledding, and even have sleds and snow toys available for your use!

Also nearby is the historic gold mining town of Julian where you will find more restaurants, apple pie, shopping, apple pie, local winery tasting rooms, apple pie, gold mine tours, and did I mention Julian's famous apple pies?!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have open views and a meadow to the east, so you can experience wildlife without ever leaving the cabin. Keep an eye out for deer, wild turkey, and all varieties of birds - finch, hawk, bluejay, vulture, woodpecker, and more! In winter, the long, sloping driveway is great for sledding, and we always get more snow than Julian. Dusk or night hiking during summer, or seeing a billion stars in the sky (and the milky way) when the sun goes down are things you never forget. Even when the weather is harsh and stormy, opening up the big picture windows and seeing nature's fury coming through the mountain pass can be quite spectacular while sitting under a blanket with a fire roaring in the fireplace!
