First trip to Mexico city

The accommodation is very spacious, and nicely located. The balconies bring a very pleasant feeling (see comments on rain later), the design is very modern and there were small thoughtful touches (i.e. ear plugs, Mexico city is 24/7 live and full of city noises). The reason for 3 stars is 3 key points; 1-this apartment needs a serious fixing. The ceiling in the living room leaks in multiple places once it rains outside (and it rained heavy every afternoon we were there). some of the window and balcony doors' locks were not fully functional and it would blow open in heavy rain. Second are that needs attention is the hot water, there is a small water heater and is good enough for 1 shower for 1 person. If you have a crowded group, you need to wait for hot water to become available again. And lastly the floors are stone, which we enjoy, however they were not clean enough to be shoeless, hence we had to constantly wear shoes at home, which we do not do in our home.

6 of us stayed at this location with 2 1/2 baths for 4 nights. When we arrived, we noticed there were only 2 hand towels in the appartment and 1 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I immediately contacted the team and the following day recieved 2 towels and was told the policy was not to include any additional toilt paper. That evening, we found that one of the shower heads was broken. I contacted the "team" and they said they would send someone out to look at it. On day 2, they did arrive to deliver the two towels but did nothing about the shower head. I once again contacted the team and once again, was told the would take care of it. Nothing happened by the third day and when I was finally contacted, I was told, because of the broken shower, we would be given one, (that is 1!) additional roll of toilet paper. The 6 of us enjoyed Mexico city, but the service provided by Wynwood was pathetic. One roll of toilet paper for the loss of a shower, which left 1 shower for 6 people, and theconstant lip service was unacceptable. If you stay here, don't expect any service from the Wynwood "team" and buy extra toilet paper and paper towels. The door man, Tito, was the highlight of the stay. He got our tip.
