Our unique and tranquil getaway location combines the best of a zen tropical garden minutes from Siesta Key beach and downtown Sarasota. Enjoy a covered, screened in patio overlooking a stunning waterfall and large koi pond with a wooden deck, high top garden seating and outdoor kitchen with built in propane grill. Enjoy feeding the fish and the front yard firepit. 8-seat dining room table, fully equipped kitchen and open concept make this great for small family gatherings!
This home has a fully equipped kitchen to host big family dinners, has a large fire pit out front for cool nights, and the waterfall can be heard from the entire house with windows or doors open. Enjoy a ping pong table in the garage that can be easily moved to the front yard for fun family tournaments. Please enjoy our beach equipment located in the garage including umbrella, beach wagon, toys for kids, mesh shell/shark tooth hunting tray, beach chairs and beach towels (inside linen closet) for great days on beautiful Siesta Key.
The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached master bath with sinks in the hallway, separate from toilet and renovated shower which can be closed for privacy while sinks in use. Both night stands have power outlets and USB ports on the back for easy plug in for all your devises. The second bedroom is perfect for a small family or kids room with a full bottom bunk that can sleep two and a twin top bunk. Dollhouse in second bedroom closet, perfect for keeping small children busy. The third bedroom can be utilized as bedroom or office or combo! Murphy bed pulls open/closed with one finger to easily convert to a comfortable queen bedroom or office setting - great for working remote or wanting extra space during the day for a play room by putting murphy bed up. Second bathroom sits between bedrooms 2 and three and has a renovated bathtub/shower combo with sliding glass doors.
Living room equipped with matching leather couch and love seat, with 4 reclining seats. 60" TV with You Tube TV (just like regular cable, signed in - ready to watch) as well as Google Play, loaded with Hulu, HBO, Netflix, Disney+, and more (you must sign in and out upon your arrival and departure).
Our neighborhood has hundreds of huge live oaks with canopy branches growing over the streets and makes a wonderful place to walk with your family (mostly shaded) and see bald eagles, hawks, and bunnies at the right times of the day/year.
Our waterfall does produce some excess moisture in the back yard that can tend to increase mosquito activity in the summer months - please utilize the bug spray on the back porch area if enjoying the outdoor space in the dusk time frames if needed - this is typical of Florida in canopy settings and cannot be avoided.
We are local hosts, only living about 30 minutes away and can be available if needed for questions about the house, anything needed on property (the pond and pump need to be maintained, so for longer stays we may have to pop in at your convenience to service the back yard area to keep it pristine for your visit). Please no loud music after 10pm as we have close-by neighbors and the sound carries easily.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Charming place to stay, excellent host communication, well stocked with things you might need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend and will stay here again!!!
This place was amazing, it was close enough to everything but just far enough for a nice relaxing time. The inside of the house has a perfect open layout for families and the backyard is incredible. Between the rockfall/pond and the grilling area, and hot tub this backyard had everything a group would need to relax and enjoy life at a home away from home.

We had a short trip to visit my son’s college. We loved this property! My son actually left something behind. I contacted the owners and they found it and shipped it to me!!! We will definitely be staying again in the future!!

About the host
Hosted by Jenna Morgan
My family and I love traveling and have stayed in many short term rental homes and absolutely love the feeling of a home away from home instead of a hotel! We like to have lots of adventures from beach vacations to mountain stays, love to fish, camp, hike and explore. We recently decided to turn this home into garden family retreat that vacationers that families, couples, friends, or individuals could enjoy as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We love that this home is minutes from Siesta Key Beach, and very close to Downtown Sarasota and great dining and social locations. The neighborhood itself is known as "Canopy Road" due to the vast amount of Great Live Oaks sprawling across the lawns, limbs covering the roads, and a small bridge with a little river leading into Philippe Creak and out to the Intracoastal.
What makes this property unique
This property provides a small sanctuary in the middle of all the city and beach attractions you could want. Our back "yard" area features a raised wooden deck with lots of vegetation, orchids, slate and stone areas, a small woven swing, outdoor kitchen - and best of all a 10ft waterfall flowing into a large Koi pond. During cool months when the doors and windows can be left open, you can hear the waterfall throughout the house creating a peaceful feeling not common in the middle of a city! Great place for yoga lovers, book readers, naps on the screened in patio, and family dinners. A ping pong table in the garage is great for kids or family competitions, light weight and easy to drag into the driveway. Two large swings in the front yard hanging from our massive Great Oak make a great place for kids to entertain themselves while hanging around the house!
