About this property
The Macaw yurt
Our beautiful 16ft bungalow-style yurt is 201 square feet of circular coziness and comfort. It feels very large and spacious inside. The Macaw Yurt features a comfortable queen size bed, multiple soft aloe vera pillows, organic cotton sheets and bedding, and a full size pull out sofa bed. We love snacks and amenities as much as anyone, so we've put in an electric kettle, a retro microwave, mini fridge with a large freezer, local coffee from Austin, boutique assortment of tea, 2 liters of our well water, and some snacks. We have our A/C + a fan pumping during the summer months, and the portable heater + heated blankets cranking in the winter, so you'll feel comfortable and right at home.
Please note, we have a 2-night minimum.

We're Andrew and Kiele, and we own Camposanto ATX. We're a married couple that values serenity, peace, thoughtfully designed spaces and built-by-hand creative craftsmanship. We enjoy outdoor adventures (sailing, surfing, biking), cooking, gardening, building cool things, and spending time with loved ones. We built Camposanto ATX from scratch, from concepting the design to building with repurposed materials - it was a labor of love and so much fun to create. We built this space so others can enjoy it as much as we do. It's a place where you can feel safe, serene, and split into peace and quiet in nature. Enjoy!
Why they chose this property
Camposanto ATX is located in a hidden gem neighborhood at the end of a peninsula on Lake Travis called Graveyard Point. Yes, it used to be a graveyard 100 years ago. But now, it is a small, quiet neighborhood filled with lake dwellers and salty dogs. We love it so much, we live here. It's quiet, quirky, and surrounded by the lake. It is the perfect place to bike, hike, take a light stroll, or go for a swim, sail, kayak or paddleboard ride. We are about a 40-minute drive from downtown Austin, Texas.
What makes this property unique
We aim to make our place as luxurious and thoughtful as possible, filled with comfortable textiles, homey amenities, and beautiful lighting. Our guests say we've thought of everything! Our amenities are top notch: from our chef's kitchen equip with everything you need to make a gourmet meal (including a vintage Viking stove) to our large 10-person fire pit and hot/cool tub, our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
