Quick Family Trip

We booked this Crystal Mountain property last minute for a quick family trip, and it exceeded our expectations! The location is great - a short walk to the Park at Water's Edge and Mountain Market areas, making it easy for our family to enjoy all that Crystal Mountain had to offer. The house was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area. The host was very responsive, providing quick answers to our questions and ensuring check-in was seamless despite our late booking. Traveling with young children, we appreciated the additional space afforded at the property - both indoors and outdoors (when compared to the tighter confines of Crystal Mountain's room offerings). We would highly recommend this spot for families visiting Crystal Mountain!

Fantastic home in great location!

We had a great stay over a long weekend! The house has tons of room, and is in a perfect location. Tons of parking at the house and communication with the owner was great. We’ll be back!

Cozy clean and walking distance to the mountain

We have stayed at so many properties over the years at Crystal and this is one of our new favorites. Very cozy and clean and has all the amenities needed. Walked right to buck to hit the slopes and close enough to walk back for lunch. We already booked our next stay here!

Wonderful cottage by Ski resort

This is the perfect place to stay for a big family or with friends. 2 block away from the Ski slopes! Ample spaces and all the amenities are generous for us to enjoy our stay! A wonderful view of the golf course covered with snow from the living room! Thanks Lisa for being wonderful hosts!

New years trip

The house was fantastic. The location is extremely nice being a short walk to the base area. The cleanliness of the house is nice and has a good amount of space to spread out with a group. Would definitely return here in the future.

Amazing home for two families

Perfect home for two families! Great location, just a short walk to the buck lift at Kinlochen! Rooms were great, beds super comfy! We had an amazing time and we’d for sure stay here again! Note: be on the lookout for all the pretty deer!!

Ski Trip

We have been skiing at Crystal Mountain a few times each year for the past 5 years. This property was one of the best ones. Great layout for all of us, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - everyone had their own space! The house was very clean and comfortable. A bit longer walk to the buck lift that we expected, but it was fine.

Perfect ski vacation

Two families of 4 each stayed here for a ski trip, and we all had a wonderful time - the house was beautiful, had games and puzzles for the kids, and great spaces for everyone to hang out. Plus the location was perfect for walking to Crystal restaurants and pool (we drove to ski, as we didn’t want to carry our stuff). We would definitely stay here again!

Great family base for a ski weekend.

We had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room for all eight of us (four adults and four kids) and it was only a short walk or ride to the mountain. We’d stay here again.

Awesome cabin! Perfect location!

We have been a staying at this cabin for over 5 years. It is an awesome cabin. Always extremely clean and the layout is perfect for family. Perfect location, quick walk to the hill. Highly recommend!

Family Ski Trip

Perfect for our family of 8!

Location was great! All Crystal Mountain Resort amenities were within a quick walk. Perfect for our family of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). Our family has stayed at multiple Crystal Resort properties and this one had the best stocked kitchen and offered the most family friendly indoor and outdoor games. The online pictures don’t do the cottage justice.

Great place for our Summer Vacation

We found the house clean, well taken care of and it had everything we needed to have a good time. We had plenty of room for 2 families, and were very happy with the feeling of 'space' without stepping on toes. Location was awesome, far enough away from the pool and activities to be nice and quiet, but close enough that a quick walk got us to anywhere on the resort. The whole family enjoyed sitting and watching golfers on the green which was just out back. This was our first trip to Crystal Mountain, and we really enjoyed the alpine slides, mountain bike trails and the golf!

Great location & property!

House was clean & very roomy. Plenty of space for our family of 6 adults & 2 toddlers. The short walk to the Village at Crystal Mountain made it easy to get to the slopes, restaurants & everything Crystal Mountain has to offer. Perfect family ski weekend!

Beautiful!

We loved this home! The great room was spacious and the sleeping arrangements worked great for our vacation with another family. The two masters worked perfectly as did the addition two rooms filled with beds for kids. Absolutely loved the back yard! Fire pit and large open common area behind it was awesome! Close enough for the kids to walk...it was perfect. Had some issues with the thermostat and the owners got someone to come out and take care of it right away. Very happy with our stay! Thank u!

Annual girls golf trip . . .

This cottage was perfect for our annual girls golf trip in northern Michigan. This unit is spacious, well equipped, well maintained, and is even nicer than the photos suggest. The beds were comfortable, 3 full baths were perfect and the location was great. We were able to walk to dinner, the "Market" and all the activities in the heart of Crystal Mountain. We especially loved the screened porch, and lovely backyard overlooking the 8th green on the Betsie golf course. The location is very convenient to Frankfort, Crystal Lake, and many more beautiful and fun "up north" spots.

Beautiful and well furnished cottage situated in the heart of Crystal Mountain.

Beautiful cottage and comfortably furnished. It was a great location in relation to the resort and surrounding areas of interest. The homeowner was thoughtful enough to suggest nearby activities. We went to see the Traverse City Beach Bums play baseball. Everyone, especially the children ages 10 through 14 enjoyed the day. We visited Interlochen and enjoyed a Young Composers concert free of charge. The boys took advantage of beautiful Crystal Lake by fishing and swimming. Everyone wants to return again next year.

Enjoyed our stay!

My friends and I have been coming to Crystal Mountain for seven years (have stayed in everything: hotel, Pinehurst condos, Wintergreen condos, Cottages by the Waters Edge, and other VRBO property) and this was by far one of our best stays. House was large with plenty of beds and bathrooms, lots of games (which we loved!) and had a lovely view of a green. All the essentials were provided, house was clean and functional, and had no problems with the reservation or getting in/leaving. Would definitely stay here again. :)

Very nice house!

We stayed at the Lodge for a long ski weekend with our kids and grandkids. It was very cozy, warm and inviting. It was just so comfortable, it felt like home. The house had an outside ski / snowboard closet for our skis, which was convenient. Plenty of rooms/beds and bathrooms for everyone. There were lots of games for us to play with the kids. It was very close to Crystal Mountain lifts for skiing every day. It had a great view of the golf course, although it was the middle of winter! We had a great family weekend at this lodge. We hope to return again next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
