Sandy's place is in a peaceful rural area but centrally located 14 minutes from Downtown Lewisburg and Mifflinburg. Let yourself in with the keyless entry door locks. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a cozy and quaint remodeled farmhouse. Kick back on the patio around a campfire or snuggled on the swing. The family room boasts an electric fireplace heater that resembles an actual flame. A stacked washer and dryer are located right off the kitchen with a bonus toilet. Both bedrooms are upstairs along with a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Rewind in the upstairs sitting room reading a book. Private parking on premises.

Alisha is extremely fast to respond and helpful with any questions! The home was correctly advertised for distance from Bucknell University the host was very quick to respond to questions and concerns the price was reasonable and easy to check in. The home itself had an odd smell to it not sure if it was cat stench or just hadn’t been aired out seemed stuffy. Just was not clean feeling very cluttered and the refrigerator and freezer and floors were in need of a good cleaning. As well as the entrance and back door large cobwebs and some old some still actively working for the spider in it so it was a little creepy

I am sorry you felt you had a 3 star stay. Most guests find the older farmhouse decor cozy and inviting not cluttered. Our home is scrubbed after every guest. The house sits on a stone foundation which you will find in most rural older farmhouses, so you will find the occasional spider but again we throughly clean after every guest.

If I had to leave an honest review; I would say that it would have been a better experience if we would have slept better. We are a little on the plus size, and to sleep in a full size bed was a little too squishy for our comfort level. But that's just our preference. (That's my fault, I did not look at the bed sizes when I booked).Also, it's always nice to have a coffee pot so that people aren't waiting in line to have a cup of coffee; again, just a preference thing for people that are coffee drinkers like us. Other than that, the house was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well stocked for staying short term. Thank you again for offering us family time at a very reasonable rate!

This property was exactly like the pictures and description. They thought of all the little details to provide which was nice. Check in and out process was super easy. If you’re looking for a cozy place, close enough to town, but far enough away to enjoy the farming fields, this is the place.

Adorable farmhouse

Perfect stay while visiting Bucknell. May want to bring a fan for second bedroom… not a big deal, but helps with air flow. Great location, beautiful views, everything we needed.

Like staying at your grandma’s/mom’s house

We stayed for a little getaway to do antiquing and wine tasting in the area . All the comforts of home were included and appreciated.

Honeymoon getaway

I reserved this place for my daughter and her husband after their wedding. I did have an opportunity to see inside; the first floor only. It is lovely. My daughter said to give an excellent rating in every way.
