We really enjoyed our stay. The house is really neat and, even though the lake was frozen, the setting was beautiful. I would love to go back during the summer months. The house was also very clean and was perfect for our family of four. I would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful property ideally situated right on the lake with everything you need to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The accommodations were perfectly set up with no small detail overlooked. Communication with the property manager was just enough to provide the info that we needed to maximize our time and enjoyment. As we were leaving the property, I realized that we could have easily enjoyed another 24 hours... Will definitely look into renting this place again!

Beautiful Lake Views! The Lake House is so cozy and beautifully decorated. It is equipped with everything you may need. Management very responsive and cooperative. We only wish we could have spent more time enjoying this place!

Picture perfect!

This home was above and beyond my expectations. The moment we walked in , we were greeted with a sign welcoming us on the chalkboard above the adorable eating nook. The home was clean and the host made sure you have everything you need. Of course the show stopper was the backyard. My daughter and I loved sitting near the fire pit and bird watching. I wish it was a longer trip so that we could truly enjoy all this home had to offer. If you are looking for a place to stay in Monroe book this home NOW!!

relaxing getaway

Dawn is a great hostess! She was very responsive and helpful. The lake house is fully stocked and designed beautifully. The beautifully designed outdoor space has everything to unwind and relax - firepit, hammock, lounge chairs, picnic table and more. The shimmering lake right at the edge of the property was beautiful! (Except for the fact that it was covered in algae the first few feet.) We didn't use them, but they are stocked with a full selection of paddleboards and canoes, etc... that looked to be in excellent condition. The neighbor's chickens and dogs added a "farm like" feel to our stay. We wanted to stay longer! Overall, a great experience!

This property is as advertised, clean and comfortable with a beautiful property and views of the lake. Paddle boards, kayaks and a prepared fire pit were all extras that we took advantage of. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Very peaceful and tranquil. So perfect for my mom and I for a quick trip to the Woodbury Outlets and it was a definite bonus to retire here after! The property is lovely at night and there has been every effort made to make sure you have a great stay. Would come back!

We had an amazing stay at cottage and honestly didn’t want to leave.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and well stocked. It was clear from the moment we arrived that the host put a lot of thought into every detail. From the kitchen amenities to the outdoor spaces, everything we needed was already there. The setting on the lake was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee with the view and our evenings relaxing by the water. The property was quiet, comfortable, and a perfect escape from the city.The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and nicely decorated without feeling overdone. Every space was functional, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and check-in was simple and stress-free.We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We especially love being surrounded by lakes, mountains, and the natural beauty of the Monroe/Tuxedo area.
