Wonderful Quiet Luxurious Place in Woods

This 39 acres is so delightful to explore. Everyday we would experience a morning walk to a pond and then further on to a lovely walk in the woods with the sound of the running creek. Our first evening there we got to see out the window a deer and rabbits enjoying their evening meal. This is one of the most restful places we have ever stayed. The apartment was truly comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It was so nice after our hikes to return to the air conditioned room to cool down. We are so anxious to return.

Peaceful Getaway

This property is far enough off the main road to feel like you have gotten "away from it all" but still within 15 minutes of downtown Nevada City. We enjoyed walking in the private woods to the water on the property and our dog loved swimming in it! The apartment is underneath the main house at the back and has a lot of space and privacy. The bedroom is big enough to easily fit two queen beds and the main space has an open floor plan. The mattresses are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. There is a patio just outside the apartment door that looks out at the property. (If we had had a younger kid with us, no doubt the trampoline and zip line would have been used!) The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely long weekend at their rental.
