Great Vacation House

This house is beautifully located on a large property and within walking distance of a number of beaches in South Chatham. The house has three large bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

Chatham Stay for the 4th of July

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time here. The property is in a fantastic location on the Cape, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer.There were a few maintenance issues during our stay. When we arrived, the sink in the main floor bathroom was inoperable. The property manager was very responsive and did their best to resolve the issue. Although it wasn’t able to be repaired before we checked out, I appreciated their communication and willingness to help. We also found that some of the downstairs light switches only worked after flipping them on and off multiple times before the lights would come on.The home could also benefit from some updates. The refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and washer all felt fairly dated. The biggest issue for us, however, was the air conditioning. There is only one AC unit in the kitchen area, and when temperatures reached the mid-80s, it wasn’t enough to cool the rest of the house and made those days rather uncomfortable. Adding AC units to the bedrooms and living room would make a significant difference in comfort during the summer.We also noticed quite a few small bugs inside the house throughout our stay. Being on the Cape, it’s understandable that some insects can make their way inside, but it was more noticeable than we expected.Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the excellent location and the responsive property management. With a few maintenance repairs, some updated appliances, improved air conditioning, and better pest control, this would be an even better place to stay.

The property was just as expected. It worked great for our group and had plenty of space for everyone to hang out or eat together. The outdoor shower was a great bonus!There were plenty of fans and AC units to help with the temperature inside all of the rooms. Our only wish is that there was more parking or something that states it can only park 3 cars as if we had had any more I'm not sure where they would've gone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great. However we had major difficulties with the management company. We did not receive instructions on how to get our keys and when we called customer service they were quite rude. The cleaners were also there when we arrived for our check in time so we had to wait in a nearby parking lot with small children for 40 min. It’s a shame because the house is a great location and the poor management really off sets the experience.

We are so sorry to hear that your experience with the company was not equally as wonderful. I do see that we sent arrival instructions on July 9 to the same email we used for similar communications. I guess our SPAM limit had been exceeded! Regardless, that is no excuse to be spoken to unpleasantly, and we apologize profusely for your experience. We have spoken with the cleaners to remind them of the check-in time. We do hope that you will give us another opportunity to see you again!

Cape vacation 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location. Comfortable cottage but very dated. Finished basement very musky and could not make use of space. Living room carpet was very dirty and stained.

Great location, horrible house

Advertised as air conditioned, only 1 AC in dining room…bedrooms were uncomfortable. Beds were all old and awful. House was dirty, living room carpet was disgusting, entire lower lever was filthy. Two stove burners didn’t work..entire house needs updating and thorough cleaning.
