Bring extra towels, cooking pots if you are wanting to cook more, coffee, laundry soap, pillows and blankets, clean and communication is great, beds are comfortable, it’s a 2 story duplex, we stayed in the bottom with people above us that started partying at 130am each night.

Not what we expected

Before I mention the issues my husband and I had with this rental property, I'd like to note that I have reached out to the owners. They assured me that this is a new property and if the review was not a good one to reach out privately for improvements instead. They offered us a voucher as an apology for the really bad experience we had. The owner was nice and I am only reviewing for future guests to ask questions before booking. The worst issue for us was the lack of air conditioning throughout the home-which was the redone basement of the home. There was a ceiling/upper wall air conditioner in the living room only and fans in one of the 3 bedrooms. Otherwise, there was zero air conditioning or air flow. The owner's would have brought us fans during our stay but had a family emergency come up and was unable to assist us. The heat was bad enough we slept on the loveseat instead of any of the bedrooms. The neighborhood was also sketchy, to where I didnt feel safe outside without my husband. Lastly, the backyard area of the home had litter and broken glass everywhere. I will say it really is close to the main strip in hot springs and while it was sketchy, the neighborhood was very quiet(even for 7/4 weekend).
