VISTA MIGLIORE in UVITA, VISTA sull'oceano da letteralmente OGNI camera e doccia.
Design Kincaid con tetto in stile giapponese, camere da letto super ampie con porte finestre da 16 ', lampadari di Murano Italia, granito, marmo, piastrelle spagnole, piscina a sfioro con bordo a sfioro e doccia esterna con vista sull'oceano riscaldata, situata su 13 acri di giungla primaria con abbondanza di tucani e cusinghe un paradiso per il birdwatching. L'apertura del design ti fa sentire come se fossi un tutt'uno con la natura e ci sono viste sull'oceano da ogni stanza, comprese le docce. Tutte le camere sono enormi e ci sono pochissime pareti che creano una vista unica e rapporti dimensionali che fanno sentire libero e tranquillo!
La 3a camera da letto è una parte chiusa con tende dell'enorme soggiorno con un armadio e 1/2 vasca e doccia esterna riscaldata. Questa è l'unica camera da letto su quel piano. Guarda la foto.

Memories we will never forget!!

Picture this: waking up in a cozy house perched high on a mountain in Costa Rica, where the air is crisp and the views are endless. You spend your days exploring hidden waterfalls, and sipping coffee grown from the locals. Magical Paradise

The property is beautiful and the view is incredible! The house is lovely and the pool is perfect for cooling off or enjoying watching the whale tail dissapear and reappear with the tide. The road to get there is not for the faint of heart but it is totally worth it! Be sure to enjoy the trails for your own private jungle tour.

Exceptional

Thank you Del and Adrian for an amazing visit! This is our fifth time in Costa Rica, and fourth time in the Uvita/Dominical area! The house was clean, spacious and well equipped for cooking. The view was exceptional, the grounds well kept, and the pool was the perfect temp!! Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing time in Costa Rica!FYI, absolutely nothing against this gorgeous property…but there is no AC, only naturally accruing cooler temperatures at night. There are however multiple ceiling fans inside and out, as well as standing fans in the bedrooms!

Friends trip

Adrian, the caretaker was very responsive to a few issues we had - beautiful spot -great pool. People need to be aware there is NO air conditioning - we thought there was. It could be installed in the bedrooms. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive to access this property.

Beautiful view

This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain

Del Congo Stay

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home and it was lovely. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds. Only special note when they say you need 4x4 they mean it! Once you get up there it is beautiful, we loved seeing the Lappas, monkeys and Tucans!

Glorious Stay

Amazing property for Birthday week. The pool and whole home have the most beautiful view and is surrounded by wildlife. Internet was strong but the tv was unavailable due to no remote and the outdoor grill needs a little help. The home is like a museum to Costa Rica and Uvita....filled with awesome artwork and masks available to purchase. Del was a perfect host showing the property and full of local information. Beautiful vacation on Whalestail!

Nice home with exceptional view of the Whale Tail

Del was quick to respond to questions & fulfilled a last minute request to rent one to his vehicles for our 3 day stay. Alex & Estefany were wonderful. The dirt/rocky road to property ABSOLUTELY requires a COMPETENT 4x4 driver & vehicle . Enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool with a gorgeous view of the Whale Tail.

Uvita Jungle House

Great house really fun really well maintained with a amazing view! Right in there with nature you can’t ask for a better setting this home is nestled in the jungle high up a beautiful mountain. Not only that it over looks this amazing national park called the whales tail, the view of the beach is second to none. Owner is super responsive and the roorrty manager is awesome as well, I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to visit Costa Rica!!

Jungle get away with a view.

We had a great time at Del Congos Exotica. It was exactly what we were looking for, a private getaway with a great view and beautiful lush vegetation. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart and absolutely requires a 4x4 vehicle, but it all felt like an adventure. Oscar and Alicia were great caretakers. They were helpful and responsive to questions about the house.

Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful time and the view was spectacular. It was very private and we felt like we were part of the jungle. Howler monkeys and toucans right outside the trees in the morning with picturesque scarlet macaws flying by daily. Del was excellent and very attentive. If we need anything it was done right away. The kids loved the pool and it was great for swimming in. Extremely clean and well cared for. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it felt very safe. We can’t wait to go back.

A trip to paradise

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Our stay at Casa Del Congo was relaxing, fun and private. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the surrounding rainforest is magical, the view is breathtaking, and the host (Del) and his property management team (Alex and Estephany) were kind, helpful, and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We could not have asked for a better escape to paradise. Thank you!

Simply incredible

I don’t know where to start. Alex and Stephanie were amazing and so accommodating. The house is immaculate and has everything you need. The views were sweeping and from the upstairs bedroom it felt like you were sleeping on top of the world. For those who said the road was bad, it wasn’t if you’ve ever driven up a hill before. Just make sure you have 4wd as you should whenever visiting Costa Rica. Del and his wife gave so many amazing recommendations that I cannot thank them enough. This was truly an experience we won’t forget and will definitely rent from Del for our next visit!!!

Stunning

This house is special - very special. The views are better than the pictures. Seriously. It's a view that you can zone out to for 20 minutes before you even realize. The ceilings are high, and you feel at one with the jungle surroundings. Toucans & parrots fly around all day, and you can hear howler monkeys periodically. We even had a daily visits from a pizote! You are on top of a mountain, so yes the road is steep and you need a 4X4. It didn't slow us down at all - we enjoyed day trips as well as dinners out. If you are on the fence about booking this house, don't hesitate - just do it! It helps you slow down, enjoy the jungle and you will never forget your vacation. I know we never will :) Pura Vida!

Perfect Honeymoon!

My wife and I spent a week in this perfect mountain paradise. First off, you do need a 4 X 4 to make it up to this wonderful house. Once you arrive at the property, you are rewarded with a beautiful view of the jungle and ocean. You can see the Whale's tail from the property. The house is decorated and designed beautifully, to compliment the natural surroundings. During our stay we enjoyed time by the pool, the local food around Uvita, time at the beach, horseback riding, waterfalls, and all of the jungle ambiance. Alex and Estephanie were incredible. They gave you the privacy two honeymooners would want, but were there to help when ever we needed something. One of our regrets was that we only had Alex and Estephanie cook for us one night. The fish casada that they prepared for us was delicious and our favorite meal of our trip. We hope to make a trip back to celebrate an anniversary! Pura Vida!!!!

Pool Time

I’ll start at the top, no pun intended as we are up in the cloud forest! 4WD is a must. The bedroom, super comfortable beds! Great towels and bedding. Shower could use a bench for shampoo etc and in case you slip. Lots of stairs, but we enjoyed the exercise. Kitchen was well stocked and sharp knives, bonus! Plan on doing some cooking or eat out early as traveling up and down the MT in the dark is a bit scary. The outdoor living is wonderful. It could use some cozy outdoor furniture. The pool was my favorite! Laps in the morning and relaxing/reading in the afternoon. The view is spectacular looking out to the whales tail, even though no sunrise or sunset views. The birds and wildlife are fabulous! We heard many different birds and howlers. Saw frogs, toucans and coati all on the property. If you like to hike, this place will not disappoint and it can be as extreme as you want. The host is very accommodating. Adrian is the best! He’s a can do assistant and a beautiful soul! Pura Vida💕

Hidden Gem

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with my husband and a few friends and we had a lovely time! The property is high up on a mountain and has a beautiful view of the “whale’s tail” - which is lovely to wake up to every morning. We went during the rainy season and at times you are definitely in the clouds. The drive up the mountain from the main city center of Uvita is about 15 minutes. You definitely need a 4x4 to make it up, but it is totally worth it. The road has been improved in some parts and it made the drive a little easier. The two bedrooms upstairs have their own private balconies that have ocean views. Downstairs there is a very large and well organized kitchen. There are two extra beds downstairs as well that are separated from the kitchen by a curtain wall. The pool is lovely and outside foliage is breathtaking. We were greeted by toucans every morning and “Pancho” the coatimundi. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a place with a view in the Uvita area.

Extraordinary!

Wow! I did my homework about the property and the area but even that didn't get me to the point of true appreciation until you actually arrive. The concierge services provided by Del were a great start to enjoying our week long stay. Howlers in the morning (made some good recordings!), toucans, a sloth visible one day...all seen right outside our vacation home. Zip-lining, ATV'ing, horseback riding on the beach at sunset, snorkeling, etc. You get the drift. Action adventure for those wishing it, or just chill at the pool and enjoy the jungle. This trip far exceeded my expectations. Alex (our driver for the week) and Estephany were such a pleasure to be around. They made it clear they were there to help us at any point in time but were not obtrusive in any fashion. Expect the trip of a lifetime should you wish to enjoy Costa Rica and especially Del's Congos. Muchas gracias to all the amigos we met in Uvita!

Lots of Privacy and meticulously maintained

What a Unique setting. Lots of Privacy with a 50 mile Coastline Ocean view all on 13 1/2 acres with some monkeys and toucans galore. The daily cleaning staff is optional but much appreciated and will come at whatever time you specify ( like when you go out on a tour or for a morning mountain walk0. We walked up the mountain almost everyday and saw many birds there also and only an occasional motorcycle if any. The grounds are meticulously maintained with many tropical flowers and fruits which the gardener gave us. We especially liked the super high ceiling and the cool night air made for ideal sleeping temperature without A/C. Wake up every morning to the sounds of the Jungle , jump into the infinity edge lap pool, have a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice , and watch the Whales tail Formation as it goes to Low Tide. Never heard nor saw any neighbors (people) only sounds of the Jungle . There is very little Primary Jungle left in Costa Rica which makes this place so very special.
