Escape to the pines for lake days, game nights and peaceful mountain mornings. Just 2 miles from Sly Park Lake, our 3-bedroom retreat includes a complimentary day-use lake pass. A game-filled garage with pool, ping pong, jumbo Connect 4 and axe throwing! Unwind across three outdoor decks, then head out to explore Apple Hill, Placerville or Lake Tahoe.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It was clean, well appointed, and organized with many personal touches. Lots of activities for adults and children. Quiet neighborhood with regular visits from deer. We would stay here again.

Well stocked clean home. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Very comfortable. Lovely drive to the location, just 2 miles from Jenkinson Lake.

Fantastically Fun Stay!

The family had a great time on our 4th of July trip! The house was fantastic and clean! Such a homey cabin feel, toys for the kids and adults, with all the amenities imaginable. Fun for all ages. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location near Sly Park and Lake

This house totally exceeded our expectations. It was sparkling clean, well stocked and super comfortable. We loved the quiet neighborhood and outside decks too. We look forward to staying again and highly recommend!

Beautiful home

I loved this house and the price was great. This home came fully equipped and the property manager was very helpful and available whenever we had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

This charming home was the cleanest home I’ve been to. The host has thought of everything to make sure her guests can enjoy their stay and feel welcomed! We had a fabulous time surrounded by nature and peaceful beauty. ( we even had resting dear in the backyard ) We plan to book with her again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Katy was an incredible host—so helpful, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions. She also shared information about local events, which made our trip even more enjoyable.From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Every detail made the space feel welcoming and relaxing. It is truly the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in.We loved seeing deer every day and enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting. Our family had so much fun with the games and movie nights complete with popcorn. As someone who enjoys cooking, I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which made preparing meals easy and enjoyable.Each morning started perfectly with a cup of coffee on the deck, listening to the birds, and it was so convenient to be able to throw in a load of laundry before bed at the end of the day. The location couldn't have been better—as short drive to Placerville, the lake, and Tahoe, while still feeling peaceful and private.Our kids (16,14 and 10) did not want to leave. The house was comfortable and serene. We came for a family reunion (we live in Florida) and everything combined to a truly wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Katy. You were truly a blessing to our family, and we can't wait to come back!

Great house, deposit policy sucks

Of all the short term home retails I done, this was the nicest house I have rented, well prepared and decorated, my parents thought it could use more light for reading though. Great location in a forested neighborhood. House was spotless and appeared to be almost new. My only issue is the if you don’t buy the damage insurance, you are required to put up a very large security deposit, 5 days after stay I contacted Vrbo and was told it will be another 2 to 3 weeks for it to be refunded. I was informed by Vrbo that it is the owner’s discretion to charge and the amount of deposit. In this era of add ons and additional fees this is leaving me with a sour taste. Great house but add in the insurance or don’t expect to see your deposit for a while.

I contacted customer support, they assured me you will have your refund in 14 days from departure as it was the chosen method of damage protection when booking. Pollock Pines is truly a beautiful area, its known for its scenic views, lakes, and forest. I love to go to the lake during the summer for hiking, kayaking, and floating. During the fall Apple Hill is always a great time to try different apple donuts, apple cider, apple beer and check out all the different vendors! No matter what time of the year or season there is always something fun to do!
