This was a beautiful property, the view was amazing and the home was extremely clean. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely stay on the bay!

My family of four had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The home was equipped with everything we needed, beds were very comfortable especially after all the wonderful hikes we found. There is a lovely organic farm right down the street too. Would highly recommend.

Bayfront Cabin

This beautiful cabin was so peaceful. The windows provided lots of natural light and fresh air. The listing was just as described offered a stocked kitchen and many extras that made our stay wonderful!

Comfy & Cozy

We had a lovely stay here. The place was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the views of the bay and the fire pit. There were some local, coastal spots nearby that were nice to visit. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor was approximately an hour away.

Gouldsboro waterfront

View and property were magnificent! The house was comfortable and flowed well. A well appointed kitchen and eating area helped us enjoy numerous family meals and each other’s company. We would highly recommend this property!

Down East Retreat

One of the cleanest and most well equipped cabin I have ever rented. It was so peaceful. The location was perfect with a lot of adventures close by. The view from the backyard was unbelievable.

Beautiful Cabin

We had a lovely family vacation and the cabin and setting were beautiful. Exactly what we needed! Plenty of privacy in this gorgeous setting on the water as well as a great location for exploring Acadia. The cabin was well appointed with any amenity we could could need. We would love to come back again!

Cute and secluded little cabin

Susan's property was beautiful! We loved staying by the water, using the firepit, and being separated from city living. The house is a little out of the way so make sure to get any shopping done in the daytime but it makes the nights so dark; it was perfect for stargazing over the water. Definitely would stay again!

The sunrises were beautiful!

The property was awesome. The location is really unsurpassed! The water views from all places in the home were spectacular. Great property to be able to travel to Schoodic Point! We also found a lot of conveniences were already there.

Great property with awesome views!

We loved our Maine Vacation largely due to being able to come home each evening after enjoying the sites to this peaceful, well-maintained cabin in the woods. It had plenty of room for our party of four adults. The knotty pine floors and ceiling downstairs and walls upstairs are simply beautiful and add to the total charm of this cabin! If you're looking for a great place to stay, you can't go wrong with Get Away Bay Way!

Stunning

Our stay was amazing despite the rainy, foggy weather. The Get A Way Bay is a little off the beaten path but we loved the peace and quietness with great views. The home was very spacious, clean and lovely! We enjoyed our time there and hope to return in the near future. Thank you!

Hurricane Lee was about to hit us and our family still had a wonderful stay. The home is comfortable and spacious. The property is beautiful. I would recommend it.

Another great time in Maine!

We had a lovely visit for the second time at Susan’s Home in Gouldsboro. The cabin is very comfortable and quiet and our favorite days were spent there, again, next to a fire on the water and sipping coffee from the back room with incredible views. It’s a quick drive to Winter Harbor for food or essentials and so close to the beautiful Schoodic Pointe. If we are in the area again (and hopefully we will be) we will book again!

2022 Vacation

This property was perfect for us, beautiful! The property & the home were perfect. We enjoyed the seclusion away from the crowds & took the ferry multiple days in to Bar Harbor. The Schoodic Peninsula area is gorgeous! We also stumbled on to Lubec & Quoddy Head state park, was the high light of our trip. This place is a must see! Highly recommend this property & would definitely stay again!
