Incredible stay!

The place is super fantastic, great location, amenities and very well laid out. Close to the action of Helen yet a bit secluded and on the river. Plenty of towels and space, the three levels of balconies are so nice and the hot tubs are a very nice plus…a must really! We have stayed in this place twice before and loved it, so we’re back! Third time was great. The new owners are superb, very engaging and welcoming!

Highly Recommend!

Host was readily available for communication. House was exactly what was posted, very clean, and comfortable. We were two families with a 13, 16, & 19 year old. House was well stocked and amenities were perfect for our stay. Location was quiet, but close to Helen and surrounding areas. Would book here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The townhouse is close to town, but not right in the middle of the noise and crowds. It had everything you needed! Fridge made ice and had filtered water which is kinda unheard of in rentals from my experience. Hot tubs were clean. Owner was easy to reach and super helpful. River in the back of the property was a nice perk. Kids went fishing while we watch from the balcony. They didn’t catch anything, but had fun trying! We would definitely stay here again!

Thanks for your review. Really glad your family was able to take advantage of our being right on the river and do some fishing. Next time I'll see if we can do anything about making the fish bite better = ) .

The Alpine River Bear property is all that it claims to be. The photos don't do it justice. The three decks provide beautiful views of/and access to the river. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked perfectly. The bathrooms were spacious and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Several family members were disappointed that we weren't staying in a "cabin on the river". Five minutes after walking through the door, they were so glad that we were staying at the Alpine River Bear rather than some old musty cabin. Their words, not mine. We were able to park within feet of the front door, which makes loading and unloading so much easier. The host reached out early enough that we were able to only pack what we needed. We didn't take those things that you never know if you will need. The host provided the basics to get you through until you have time to make a grocery run. The host has the technology to make access to the unit incredibly easy. No eight digit codes to memorize or keys to keep up with. The few conversations that I had with the host, because we had no issues or problems during our five night stay, he was very prompt in replying. We'll probably schedule our next trip to beautiful Helen GA, based on the availability of the Alpine River Bear.

Very clean and spacious, kids enjoyed the theatre space. We were thankful for all the supplies needed to keep the space clean. Very glad to have had washer and dryer and hot tubs for after tubing all day. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable and was quiet. It was about a 12 minute walk to the town center to get to the tubing area.
