The house was truly beautiful and spotless. We had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoor space, and we really appreciated the beach toys! There were plenty of activities just a short drive away, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. All of the beds were very comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets. Our group of 10 fit perfectly, the house accommodated us very well!

The home was everything we had hoped for, comfortable and lovely. All of the essentials were provided, as well as many thoughtful extras. The location is in a nice quiet area, but still close enough to restaurants, groceries, etc. Bicycling, kayaking, nature walks are all easily done. We would absolutely come back again.

Terrific Place

We have stayed in Hernando Beach several times as a gateway to so many fun activities. This home being new on the rental market was a great find for us. It fit our family well, had everything we needed in the kitchen, water toys, easy parking and the sunsets were breath taking each night. We fished, caught scallops, swam in the canal in front of the house, enjoyed the local restaurants, used the kayaks and a few of us old folks even learned to stand up paddle board. Great fun. The owner was easy to communicate with, the home was very clean, beds comfortable. We will repeat our stay at this home.

Great house with a view

The property was great, the house and decor are beautiful. Every room has some nice Florida decor and all the lights switches and fans are labeled. Everything in the kitchen is also labeled so you can find it easy and know where to put it back. The house has so many amenities if you forget something chances are they have it there. The house is right on a canal which we were able to kayak right off the dock. We also rented a boat from Captains Boat Rental. We found them very reasonable in price and as a bonus we were able to keep the boat overnight right on the dock. We enjoyed a sunset from the balcony every night. Overall definitely recommend this house

We live in the mountains of Utah, but have always dreamed of a home in Florida. Dave was born and raised in Utah, but attended school on the east coast where he dicovered the magic of Florida. Cailtin was born and raised in Ohio so spent her vacations with family traveling to Florida, joing up with her extended family from Atlanta area. Florida was and is the perfect gathering place for family and friend adventures. Our grown daughters help manage our properties, while our young son and grandkids keep us on the move and make sure there are always lots of water toys and adventures to the local beaches, or even occasionally convincing us to make trips to the local amusement parks. So far Legoland near Tampa is the kids favorite, although the local Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and the mermaid show is a staple for every trip for us. We love sharing our place in Florida and hearing about the adventures and experiences of our guests. When we are not in Florida, we are busy in Utah running a BBQ restaurant, commercial properties, and a catering company, plus enjoying snowmobiling and skiing in the mountains.

Why they chose this property

This property was unique for us because the home has a great design, 4 nice bedrooms, and large indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Since the home is built on stilts, it is safe from hurricanes, but it also offers amazing views. Access to the Gulf is direct and easy (we have rented places where you felt like you were wandering through the bayou for hours). The canal we are on is very large, clean (flushed out daily with the tides), has occassional visits from dolphins, manatees, and turtles, and has decent fishing in the canal and great fishing nearby. Terrific place for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Lots of parking for cars and trailers. Covered outdoor patio area, large garage space to store all the toys, fishing equipment, etc..... The combination of all of these factors was not easy to find, so we jumped on buying this home immediately.
