Pegasos Casita, un apartamento de 2 dormitorios con vistas al mar a 350 metros de la playa de arena

El Pegasos Maisonette (apartamento de 2 dormitorios) con vistas al mar se encuentra en la localidad costera de Almirida, a 350 metros de la preciosa playa de arena. Está construido en una posición única sobre el pequeño puerto con vistas al mar azul, a 19 km al este de Chania. Se proporciona una piscina común para 7 dúplex.

Pegasos Maisonette tiene capacidad ideal para 4 personas en las dos habitaciones de la planta superior.

En la planta baja hay una sala de estar de planta abierta (con TV vía satélite y un balcón sobre el nivel de la piscina), una mesa de comedor y una cocina totalmente equipada (con lavadora, horno eléctrico grande, nevera grande, caldera). Diseño de plan abierto.

Se ofrece un baño con ducha en la planta baja y otro baño con ducha en la planta superior. También se proporcionan tres unidades de aire acondicionado e internet inalámbrico (wi-fi). Tenga en cuenta que al lado de la piscina hay una zona de barbacoa. El espacio de estacionamiento está disponible al lado de los dúplex.

Almirida es un tranquilo pueblo costero con una excelente playa de arena, muchas tabernas tradicionales, restaurantes frente al mar, cafeterías, tiendas, mini mercados y algunos bares en el paseo marítimo. Todos los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de la natación y algunos deportes acuáticos en Almirida (canoa, vela, windsurf y kiteboarding).

Hay muchos lugares de interés en los alrededores, como el lago de agua dulce de Kournas, los antiguos Aptera, los monasterios de la península de Akrotiri, el Desfiladero de Samaria y el singular casco antiguo veneciano de Chania.

Perfect Location

We had a great stay at the Pegasus Maisonette! The place was nice and clean well maintained. Maria took good care of us during our visit. The town of Almyrida is quaint with great dining options and a nice quiet beach. The view from the patio or the upper balcony was beautiful with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO 's across the country and it was great except they haven't thought about the fact people travel from FAR away and don't have things like beach towels, cooolers , beach chairs, small things like scissors or sharp knives, a toaster all of which make life easier when you cannot bring them from far away lands.

Lovely place

Throughly enjoyed our stay in Pegasos Maisonettes, Maria was a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for a better place from which explore Crete. The pool was fantastic, the views amazing, and just a short stroll down the hill to the beach and some lovely restaurants. Excellent value and we are sure to return.

Lovely week at Pegasus Masionette

My husband and I spent a week in May 2023 at the Pegasos Maisonette and it was absolutely fantastic. Close to the sea, wonderful apartment and pool and Maria was fantastically nice. A place to recommend!

Great place to stay fantastic views host very welcoming and informative. My only suggestion would be to provide sachets of coffee and tea etc for arrival . That said if my wife and I come back to Crete Pegasos Maisonettes would be our first choice.

We searched for a long time for the right holiday in the right location with the right accommodation and we hit the jackpot! The apartment was clean and had everything you needed, Maria was lovely and attentive and everyone who stayed here was really friendly. The pool was big for the amount of apartments and there was room for everyone. The town is gorgeous with a beautiful beach, lovely restaurants and shops. It has everything you need for a family. The town is very family friendly and it was mainly families that stayed there.

Holiday 2020

Well what can I say but this is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation, swimming pool, views and Maria make this a wonderful place and would highly recommend it. We hired a car and managed to explore the island along with its many beaches and little towns. Would definitely go back in the future to explore more of the island.

The apartment and views are exactly as described on the website, if not better. All of the apartments have balconies which overlook the small town, beach and sea which can only be described as breath taking. The location is perfect, approx 5 mins down the hill are restaurants right on the beach, gift shops and supermarkets, some bars/restaurants showed live sports which my partner was very happy about. It's very much an older person's place, with nothing too lively going on in the evenings.The beach was sandy but quite small as the tide didn't go out, but it was very safe and shallow for quite a bit. There are plenty of water sports available, such as paddle boards, canoes, diving and boat trips. Make sure you walk to the end of the shops along the beach as there is a place where you can book trips which we only found on our last day.As mentioned by other guests, the hill back up to the apartment would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues, but taxis are available in the small town to take you back.The pool area is very quiet and you are very conscious not to make too much noise around the pool and on the balcony at night. It would have been nice to have some music playing during the day, but I appreciate that this isn't what some guests might like. There is WiFi available but it's not great and the kitchen is equipped with basic items, but it was enough for us as we didn't cook much.Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return.

An excellent holiday

This was one of the best, if not the best, place we’ve stayed in in the area. Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and a very friendly welcome from Maria. There’s a wonderful view, the pool is superb and not crowded, and the shops, tavernas and beach are only a short walk away ( though it is uphill all the way back so not suitable for any one with moderate/severe mobility problems). Plenty of parking. I would recommend Pelagius unreservedly.

Beautiful peaceful location

Very pretty views from the balconies, fantastic pool, very clean, good shower. Maria lives on-site and happy to help if requested. She booked a taxi for us to a neighbouring town and was always very friendly when we bumped into her. This is a serene location, beautiful and restful and guests are expected to maintain the wonderful calm vibe. Highly recommend it

What a wonderful stay!

We spent two idyllic weeks at the Pegasos Maisonettes - a small, quiet complex with fantastic sea views. Maria, our host, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and our maisonette was spotless on arrival and cleaned several times during our stay. Whilst Almyrida beach was only a short walk away, the lovely pool on site was great for a refreshing dip and a quiet relax in the sun. Almyrida village has many lovely tavernas right on the beach, some modern but many more traditional, and the walk back up the hill to Pegasos after a great meal burned off a few calories! We'll definitely be back!

Amazing holiday in Almyrida

We spent 11 days in Pegasos Maisonette with our teenage sons. The apartment was just as described and most importantly, very clean. And the view from the apartment is spectacular. We were very well taken care of during our holiday and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. Almyrida is a beautiful little town with a wonderful beach just walking distance away. There were plenty of taverns and restaurants to choose from, and little shops and a supermarket. If you are looking forward to relaxing, swimming in crystal clear waters and eating well, this is a place for you.

A lovely property in an great location

We had a lovely stay in our maisonette which was clean and tidy, but did lack quite a few kitchen utensils so you couldn't cook an evening meal if you had the urge to. The showers were also a little temperamental, but good once you got used to them. The beds were comfortable and there was sufficient air con if you needed it and the cleaner came a couple of times during our 11 day visit which was good. There were also lovely views from all the balconies. The location was very good as it wasn't in the hustle and bustle, but it was just over a 5 min walk down to the lovely sandy, safe, beach and the tavernas which were directly on the beach too with a great selection of food and drink. They're were also supermarkets and gift shops. The walk back up to the maisonette was a little challenging as the hill was quite steep but as it was short it wasn't too bad. The only minor gripe we had was that we were asked to be a little quieter in the pool at one point which was a little disappointing as we weren't being overly noisy but this didn't spoil our visit overall and we would consider going back (which isn't something we say often) and definitely recommend it to others.

Chill Out Holiday

The apartment is good quality & very well maintained. It has everything needed but short of proper wine glasses, but still very usable. The views are great and steps down to the beach from the road below the apartment made it easy to get down to the village. A car is essential as it is quite hilly & not conducive to walking to & from the local shops, village or beach. We drove down & parked in town during the day, using the free parking which was readily available. 5 Euros for a taxi back up the hill after supper was a good investment. There are plenty of shops & tavernas near the seafront which was very pretty. The beach is very safe & sun loungers plentiful, free if you took a drink or lunch from those provided by the seafront cafes. It is an easy drive into Chania, a great town to visit & to other places nearby. A trip up into the hills found a lovely village with a typical taverna favoured by locals. The next town along was worth a visit, having traditional buildings, tavernas & beach, although our local beach was better. The location & accommodation were just what we wanted & best visited just outside of the main season before it becomes crowded. The views from the apartment & terraces are spectacular, especially at sunset. We were very well looked after by Maria who greeted us upon arrival & we received several emails from the owners who were keen to see that we were happy & that all was well. It is as good as it looks, probably better.

Just book it!

Pegasos Maisonettes are located up the hill from the small town of Almyrida. The walk into town is only 5 mins but it is a bit more back uphill (depending on if you are fitter than me!) There are plenty of tavernas to choose from, even sushi if you want! We never had problems getting a table. Lovely beaches. Maria is a wonderful host, welcoming us on arrival and always available with information if needed. The apartments are very spacious, ours had 3 balconies, one on the side for the rear bedroom and one on each floor overlooking the pool. Balcony sizes do vary, some are more covered than others. Being enclosed gives more shade, but traps the heat from the aircon (one downstairs and one in each bedroom). The apartment is well equipped, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine washing machine etc. The ground floor is open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and also has a bathroom with shower. Upstairs is 2 bedrooms, either side of the stairs with a bathroom in between (small but functional). The host checked in with us regularly to see if there was anything we needed, and the apartment was serviced every 4 days (love fresh sheets!) The view from the balconies over the pool and bay are amazing, and we loved sitting out watching the sun setting. Outside, the pool is large, shared with just 8 apartments, plenty of beds and umbrellas at any time of day (no getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve a spot!) We found it very peaceful (often being the only ones there) It’s FAB!

Not the Friendly Owner Described!

Apartment spotlessly clean (but in need of urgent updating), views stunning from balconies and Vrbo management excellent to deal with. However, our stay was spoiled by the poor attitude of the owner, Maria. Having decided to cook in one evening, we and the apartment next door had a sudden power cut. Initially, Maria was quite helpful, saying the issue could be due to a faulty kettle. She gave us a replacement and restored the power, presumably via an overriding trip switch. Unfortunately, we then experienced a further power cut (jointly with the adjacent apartment) when we attempted to cook again a day or so later. Having informed Maria, the managing company then texted to relay a complaint from the owner that we were overusing the electricity supply and threatening not to turn it back on again (at the time, we had one or two air conditioning appliances running in addition to the cooker hob and the next door washing machine was on). Upon confronting Maria about this directly, she became very defensive and our attempt to reason with her was met with rudeness and much ranting and raving. Clearly, the apartments have a limited power capability and can only sustain a small number of appliances at any one time. Whilst not ideal, this could be accepted if mentioned in the list of "House Rules" supplied upon arrival. There is no such reference in this document and it is a shame that the owner's behaviour clouded an otherwise excellent holiday.

Super Blick aufs Meer vom Wohnzimmer und einem Schlafzimmer aus. Strand und Geschäfte waren in Laufabstand, ca 5 Minuten, den Berg runter. Schwimmbad war sauber und groß genug, offen von 9-20 Uhr.Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich.WLan funktionierte leider fast nicht, das Sofa war nicht so bequem.Fernseher wurde innerhalb des Tages repariert.

We are twin brothers living in Chania, Crete for the last 10 years and we own the local travel agency TheHotel gr providing travel services (accommodation, car rental, transfers, excursions, trips with small yachts, a private chef, wedding organization).

Emmanuel is the founder of TheHotel gr by 2005, while Yannis has joined the firm two years later.
