Excellent location with beautiful views. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The pool and outside areas, including the terrace, we're brilliant for our stay. We were greeted by a lovely lady who told us about the area and said to let her know if we needed anything, which we appreciated. The villa itself is pretty and decorated well. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom in the main villa could do with modernisation. Lots of small villages nearby to visit and Chania is an easy drive away. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend.

Excellent property with one bedroom and bathroom in an annexe. More than enough balcony and solarium areas. The pool was larger than expected. Overall a lovely property. The only improvements would be baking trays or ceramic dishes for cooking and the bathrooms need updating, especially the main bathroom as it’s door does not open/close properly and is a risk with children. Perfect position for us - in a tiny village out of the way from anything but with tavernas within 5 minutes drive and lovely towns such as Vamos, Georgiopolis, Plaka, Kalyves and Almyrida within 15 - 20 minutes drive

Nice village but house can be better

First, it is well located, the village is nice, close to many things, yet not in city center, the organisation of the house is confortable, the pool excellent. Then, you might guess we have some grievances among which: A lot of humidity in the kitchen (cupboard under the window), it smells substantially, The bath in the first floor bathroom leaks water (most likely a hole in a joint surrounding it), The tidiness of the house was okayish, but not exceptional, The washing machine stops when you unplug the key, what as consequence “blocks it” until you release water from it (I suspect we were not the only one to face this issue), Another less critical comment is that beyond pool instruction, there is very few notice, or support to explain, how to use the different materials (fridge, should it be turned off, electricity, neither what needs to be done for the trash), Then and finally, we realised that the shower door in the dependence has only one side.

...von insgesamt 9 die schönste. Unsere Ansicht. Privater Pool und abdolut ungestört, außer von Spatzen und Katzen. Nette Orte in der Nähe. Dito kleine Einkaufsläden.

we are a small local company specializing in holidays with a difference that focus on the cultural aspects of the Vamos area and which promote ethical sustainable eco-tourism and agro-tourism. Step back in time in our beautiful traditional village, away from the busy tourist resorts but only a few minutes drive from several sandy beaches. Our guests range from individual travelers, families and small groups of friends, who love to enjoy the benefits that responsible low-impact tourism can bring to the area and the local community. In Vamos you will find a warm hospitality, traditional atmosphere, Cretan tradition, village life, pure flavor, and rich flora and fauna. In short, if you would like to live in a stone and wood village cottage, taste natural honey and virgin olive oil, walk on village paths or local countryside, smell the flowers in bloom, say ‘kalimera’ (goodmorning) to the locals whilst drinking coffee or ‘tsikoudia’ (local drink) at the village kafenion and tavern, enjoy the sun and sea in nearby beaches, then you will be in the right place!
