This is our second stay this month. Our host is very welcoming!!! The house is always neat and clean. And the sun rising over the lake is stunning!! We’ll choose this house every time.

It was ok. The vrbo is located on the opposite side of the highway and not on the lake. House was filthy. No soap for any areas. No paper towels. Vents were ridiculously filthy. Window sills were filthy with dead knats. No sheets on the bed just matress covers which made for noisy sleep. It appears they just opened the property as items were left laying around needing installation. Bedrooms had no ceiling fans. The living room was cool but the bedrooms had very little ventilation thus the air felt stiffled.

Comfy New Year at the lake

Very spacious and clean home. Has room for improvement and the owners seem to have made a lot of progress with this home. Overall was a good stay and will definitely come back.

This property has potential but a long way to go. Cleanliness was an issue. The doors and trim were visibly dirty and dead insects in every corner. Dont plan on cooking there were limited utinsels, dinnerware, and cookware. No ice trays. Bedrooms need area rugs or runners at least on side of beds. Potential for sitting area in the main. Outlets or some type of outlet on each side of bed. In the main had to move the side table over against the wall to use outlet. Bedroom with queen bed, no outlet near bed at all need an extension cord. Not able to use this bed due to that. Decor on side tables needed to be moved. No need for that. Bathrooms...hooks would be nice for convenience. Needs a lighter shower curtain in the main bath...so dark. Living room layout made no sense. Rearranged to make it functional. Some sort of matress cover on beds which felt more like a plastic cover and sounded horrible everytime you moved. Clearly some work was being done. At least one switch plate missing in main bedroom and one outlet cover missing in kitchen. Various spots where painting and trim were incomplete. That is fine but should be mentioned in listing or at least a note on site to make people aware. There was a musty odor which was attempted to cover with plug ins. Little things make a huge difference in a stay. It is like no one has stayed here to see what would be functional and make sense. Probably would not stay again or recommend with all the deficiencies.
