Lake Cottage avant avec une grande plage et la baignade. Après-midi de soleil, superbes couchers de soleil.

Camp situé sur rive nord du lac Dunmore situé dans les montagnes vertes.

Magnifiquement situé sur la rive est au nord du lac. Enveloppez énorme autour de porche fermé pour dîner avec plusieurs canapés et des chaises. Cuisine complète avec cellier, salle à manger, salon qui comprend un canapé-lit et foyer au propane. 3 chambres pouvant accueillir 8 avec 1 chambre ayant un lit superposé. Grande section 3 dock qui peut accueillir un couple de bateaux. 10 miles au sud de Middlebury. Randonnée pédestre, VTT, sports nautiques, la grande pêche, location de bateaux à proximité. radeau. Nettoyez l'eau claire pour la natation ou de regarder les poissons, les canards ou les plongeons. Couchers de soleil magnifiques.

Très bien situé pour des excursions d'une journée à Burlington, Stowe, Killington, Manchester, Fort Ticonderoga, et à Lake Placid. Beaucoup d'excellents endroits pour visites tels micro-brasseries, vignerons, Ben et Jerry, Cabot fromage.

Animaux seront considérés avec dépôt.

Situation: Situé sur la rive est du lac Dunmore, magnifiques couchers de soleil vous attendent après une journée de natation, le canotage, etc. Confortablement meublé et calme. Beaucoup de chaise pour la plage et le banc sur le quai.

Nice Lake House

Nice cabin on Lake Dunmore. Great location if you're looking for a quiet time on the lake with easy access to nearby trails.

Such a lovely stay

The cottage was perfect for our needs. The Indoor and outdoor views of the lake were the highlight. The host was lovely and accommodating, so easy to work with. Highly recommend, Particularly for those looking for a low-key experience that prioritizes a superb lakefront location.

Had a wonderfully relaxing week at lake Dunmore. Beautiful swimming area. Love the porch overlooking the lake, and the nice yard. Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Wonderful lake cabin

We loved our stay on Lake Dunmore at this rustic lake cottage. Adorable, plenty of room, and everything you need. The lake is spectacular and nice backyard to enjoy in between swims. Howard and Diane were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

A picturesque location for a cottage on a lake

We enjoyed the view and the lake. Getting in and out was easy. Was clean but there was pet hair on blankets. The kitchen didn’t have dish towels which made doing dishes a little harder.

Jacob, sorry about the dog hair on the blankets. We are dog friendly and always try to make sure this isn’t an issue. This is our first complaint for this. I do wish you reached out to me on dish towels. We should have had several in the island drawer. I would have had our cleaning service come by if that wasn’t the case.

Anniversary celebration

Cottage was just what we were looking for. The setting made for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. It didn’t matter if we were sitting around the fire pit or on the porch the views couldn’t be matched. It was one of the best vacations ever. Our host Howard was great from the beginning of the renting process till the end. We had one little problem that was taken care of within minutes of our text. Thank you Howard

Very Relaxing/great sunsets

This is second time we have stayed and it was great. Weather was great, water and swimming area very clear and temp was perfect. Yard was perfect size for our needs and fire pit was relaxing. Camp is well stocked with all things your would need for your stay just bring your food. Owner is great to work with and very easy to contact. The sun porch was great to have coffee in the morning and watch the activities on the lake…our grand daughter loved using her walker on the wooden porch and easily boogied all over. We got to see the Eagle twice while sitting on the porch. Love this place for the ease, comfort and ambiance

Beautiful Old style camp

A terrific lake view with a great old style lake camp feel. I grew up in the area even though I moved away years ago it reminded me of camp stays on Lake Dunmore from my youth. All the neccesary amenities expected for a modern experience with a couple of exceptions. The listing doesn't spell out that the camps running water is pumped directly from the lake. You find that out when you read the rules posted in the camp or see the pump in the lake. if you can't cook or drink the water can you brush your teeth? Clean fruit and vegetables for raw consumption? Not a confident feeling. Also a note that initially I was told just before check in that linens, towels and blankets etc wouldn't be provided due to covid. While owner made an exception this should have been posted up front. Not an option for anyone flying to the destination as we were.

Thanks David for your review. Our summer home which has been in the family for 63 years, has always been tagged as a camp house as is the case for many of the traditional summer homes around the lake. Regarding the water situation, yes we pump from Lake Dunmore similar to most homes directly on the lake. Lake Dunmore is mainly a spring feed lake along with being fed by a mountain stream. It is very clean and the water line does go through 3 filters. We have looked into a well, but with our property being right on the water makes this difficult with the water table. At some point we will look at putting a well in, but likely somewhat risking and costly with the mountain right behind us. Honestly this is the first time someone has brought this up as a concern. We also have a water cooler in the kitchen and supply the water. Regarding linens and towels. We normally do provide them. With Covid 19 and following guidelines with VRBO and the state of Vermont, we felt it was best if renters brought their own. Our renters last year actually felt more comfortable with this and we focused on sanitizing in between renters. As Covid restrictions are relaxed this year, we should begin providing this service. Also it should be noted that with the extended state and federal unemployment payments, we haven't been able to find a local cleaning service. My wife and I have been travelling from out of state to clean in between renters.

flexible space with amazing lakeside view

This property has a lovely view of the lake 24/7. We like to play board games and this place has tables galore inside and outside. Beds, furniture, views, and property manager were great. Needs improvement: VRBO details are inconsistent and check-in info differed in emails from the owner vs VRBO (trust the owner). Sidewalk is a very uneven and things could use a coat of paint but we would stay there again for sure.

Just what the doctor ordered

It is always a great time on the lake. This cottage is great for making memories and forgetting the woes of the outside world. Great access to the lake and hiking trails makes this a perfect get away.

A wonderful, relaxing week.

This was my first stay at this cabin. My family and I had a great time. The location was perfect, right on the lake! Sunsets excellent. The grandkids really enjoyed the dock, although there was no beach. Would like to stay again next year.

howard and the camp are gems

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The camp has all the necessities and the front porch became a place where we did our work, reading, art. Lots of tables and the view is outstanding. Howard is very accessible and communicative. He provided us with everything we needed. Hope to get back next year.

Great experience

Stayed with various family members. Found the camp in organized and clean condition. Was able to meet owners. They were very helpful and accommodating. The camp is well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen or any other furnishings. Porch was amazing for coffee and watching activities at nearby boys camp. Great swimming area and dock. Yard was a great area for our pets. So happy with this first experience with a VRBO listing. Will be returning in 2022. LOVED IT.

A great place to get away!

Howard was extremely helpful with answering all questions about his beautiful lake home. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything you need . The views and swimming are excellent from the screened in porch. My family and I had a terrific time in his house and will definitely be booking for next year!

Relaxing stay at Lake Dunmore

Love this cottage! The location is excellent. The swimming area is weed free. Enjoyed a very relaxing week, swimming and kayaking every day. Love the waterfront area and hammock. This is my second time renting here, and will not be my last. Enjoyed having breakfast out on the porch, overlooking the water. My stay here went by too fast.

Spotlessly clean lake cottage

We knew we were renting an older cottage. It was a pleasant surprise to arrive to a pristinely clean and neat little cottage steps from the lake. Even the blankets and quilts were clearly newly washed! The cottage is definitely older ... with metal cabinets in the kitchen and some vintage furniture, but everything we needed was there, perfectly organized, and ready for use. The beds were comfortable, with ceIling and window fans available. Sadly, it was cold and rainy, but the baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and the propane fireplace in the living room worked perfectly to make everything cozy. Check in was easy, and when we hadn’t arrived by early evening, our host texted and emailed us just to make sure everything was ok. He responded to all questions within an hour! It was a great weekend!
