Pacífica privada, acogedor, espacioso 200 años antigua casa de labranza, en 114 acres en el Green Mountain Nacional Forest- Goshen (central) Vermont. Muchas actualizaciones, muebles antiguos, limpio, ordenado y muy relajante: Cuatro dormitorios, uno de matrimonio en el primer piso. Disfrute de la gran chimenea de piedra en la sala de estar, comedor, cuarto de baño completo / ducha, y una gran cocina de campo totalmente equipada con despensa. Arriba, hay una bañera con patas en el baño, así como tres habitaciones: una gran reina, los gemelos y una doble grande. TV por cable, un armario juego completo, trineos, patinaje, golf, estanques cercanos. Alquiler por fin de semana, semana o mes. Semanas disponibles alquileres de vacaciones. Gran lugar cualquier época del año!

Las vistas son espectaculares desde el 3 de temporada piedra del sol porche. Sólo otra casa es visible desde nuestra propiedad. Rutas de senderismo, recolección de arándanos, las estrellas más brillantes en la Tierra, así como los ríos y estanques abundan. Vida Silvestre avistado frecuentemente en nuestros prados. La cercana ciudad de Brandon cuenta con muchas galerías conocidas, tienda de libros, tiendas y un restaurante francés excelente. En cualquier época del año, este es un lugar maravilloso vacaciones familiares. Para los esquiadores, estamos cerca de Middlebury Snow Bowl, una pequeña montaña de la familia con terreno variado. A 30 minutos en coche te lleva a Pico y Killington, y unos 40 minutos para poder llegar a Mad River y Sugarbush. Senderismo y raquetas de nieve por la puerta ingresando senderos en toda la propiedad. Golf, montar a caballo y nadar cerca.

We had a wonderful week at Leslie's home. The house is a classic old New England with lots of charm and comforts. The house is extremely well-furnished, very quiet and a short drive to Brandon. The house is also close to dirt roads that make for enjoyable walking.Leslie was very helpful and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. And that's important to me.

We did enjoy our stay. It was a little unexpected to have the refrigerator unplugged and empty and for the pantry to be so bare. It would have been nice to have coffee and filters and maybe something for our first breakfast, but we enjoyed going to the market and going to Rosie’s for breakfast. The property was beautiful and the house felt like a home once we settled in.Thank you for sharing.

Charming old Vermont farmhouse

The location was great, for hiking and exploring in that corner of Vermont in mid-September. Views of the mountains were beautiful. Nearby Brandon is an interesting town with many historic houses, and a wonderful, popular restaurant: Cafe Provence. The house is larger than two people needed but plenty comfortable. It's an antique house, but with good internet.

Relaxing!

Timbertop is the most charming antique farmhouse nestled in the mountains. We had a wonderfully relaxing week and found the house welcoming and comfortable. We cooked and ate and lounged about, explored Brandon and the surrounding area. Highly recommend staying here.

Ideal country relaxation

Our family had a lovely week staying at this Vermont farmhouse in the midst of the Green Mountains. We walked in and immediately felt like we were home. Whether sitting in the sunroom reading, playing games in the parlor, or playing the piano from the Stephen Foster songbook in the entryway, we loved everything about this special place.

Relaxation in the Green Mountains

We had a wonderful stay at this property recently. The location is quite lovely, along a quiet gravel road in an elevated area with amazing views. Really, it's totally worth it just to relax in the airy enclosed porch and take it all in (extra bonus when the sun comes out and warms up the stone floor of the porch!) The house had plenty of room for us, and Leslie was a very gracious host! It gives us great joy to see this beautiful Vermont historic house cared for so that it can continue to provide joy to Vermont travelers for years to come.

Lovely secluded escape

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful property and were able to connect with nature. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Leslie and Monique were very attentive and went above and beyond for our family. Truly enjoyed our stay and privacy.

Relaxing with a view

Leslie’s home is the perfect escape from the busy day to day. The home is full of charm, location perfect to explore the surrounding areas and the views so relaxing from the house. The wifi is very good as well, there were no issues when we had to work.

Scenic, peaceful getaway

Lovely old farmhouse, well equipped for cooking, and meticulously cleaned. We enjoyed hanging out together on the sun porch, walking along the old dirt road, and watching the fireflies in the evening. We did not see a moose, but hope springs eternal.

Family spring break visit

Perfect rustic farmhouse, as described and just what I was looking for! Leslie the homeowner was great! The boys loved exploring the property and sledding down the hills around the house. We snowboarded in Killington which wasn’t far away, visited Ben & Jerry’s, had a maple syrup tasting tour and visited an apple cider plant. Would definitely visit again!

Remote bliss

What a unique and cozy getaway! We wanted an escape to the mountains and this was more than perfect- it had plenty of space and so much charm, a combination of history and modern conveniences. No cell service but good WiFi meant we could unplug but get some work done during our stay. The backyard had the best sledding hill that our kids (11 and 9 yo) played on all day long, sleds thankfully in the shed. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking , and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Old school Farmhouse in beautiful setting

Natural cooling. Good communication with owner. Sunporch a plus. Tempurpedic mattress cover a bonus. Great kitchen to hang out in. Good Wi-Fi but no cell service. We would rent again. Thank you.

Special spot in amazing area for outdoor recreation

We had a blissful stay here on our own as a couple and then with some of our adult children. It was everything we were looking for. We were able to work with adequate WiFi for 2 while also enjoying daily outings to cross country ski in the field or on the property trails or at nearby Blueberry Hill. Sugarbush and Mad River or the Midd Snowbowl are reasonable drives away. And backcountry skiing at the Brandon Gap is just around the corner from the property. Quiet, charming, special! Great light and cozy!

Perfect Vermont getaway

We loved the feel and the amenities of this house. It was perfect for our needs: homey, kitchen well-stocked, comfortable beds, everything in good working order. The owner's instructions are thorough and helpful. The gardens and meadow are beautiful, with the hills beyond. Plenty of room outside for children and dogs to play. There are only a couple of other houses on the road, so no traffic to speak of. Very tranquil. Nearby town of Brandon has good restaurants and some shops. Many great places nearby to hike. Highly recommend!

Lovely, peaceful place

This was just a wonderfully peaceful place. Listening to the tree frogs, watching the fireflies, and stargazing was a great reset. My twin granddaughters enjoyed exploring the brook and picking (and eating) the blueberries. The home itself is like a trip in the way back machine to a time when things were much simpler. The wi-fi was not wonderful which made working a bit difficult and this is an old home. While I thought that was awesome, be prepared for all that goes along with that.

As a child, I spent many happy days at this property and then my children also did. Making flower headbands in the meadows was a favorite, or hiking up the meadow for the view, travelling to many nearby waterfalls to swim. Working around my teaching schedule, we visit as often as we can!
