Find your ideal vacation spot at Casa Calypso ! This beautiful luxury home is right on the beach with sweeping views of the Mexican Carribean. The private beach and pier allow ready access to swimming, SCUBA diving, and excellent snorkeling right out your front door. It's cozy for two, or easily accommodates up to 16 guests. Each of the four bedrooms has a full private, en-suite bath with walk-in shower. The upstairs master has a pillow-top king bed plus a queen sofa pull-out--perfect for relaxing with a commanding view of the ocean! The enormous terrace is partially covered and screened for relaxing in the sun or the shade. While the view is sweeping, it's also private for sunning! It's ideal for margaritas at sunset, relaxing dinners, or can also be used as a sleeping porch. All downstairs bedrooms also feature pillow-top mattresses for ultimate sleeping comfort. There are two downstairs masters with a king bed, plus one bedroom has two queen beds. All are uniquely furnished with top-of-the-line linens. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and appointed for 16 guests. You'll find all you need to prepare fun family meals, or you can take advantage of our Chef's Service with meals prepared according to your own special order.
The large, open-design dinining and living room areas readily accommodate a large group or special event, with sweeping views of the beach and ocean plus ready access to the pool and hot-tub.

For those who want to keep in touch, Casa Calypso has satellite TV and a stereo system that is I-Pod ready. The villa is Wi-Fi enabled so bring your laptop. There is also a VOIP phone system with free phone calls to the US and parts of Europe. For those who want to escape, the Mexican Caribbean is at your door! You'll marvel at the beautiful, clear blue water that is near 80 degrees year around--perfect for SCUBA, snorkeling, and swimming!

You'll enjoy the ultimate luxury of a 400 foot private beach, plus a 135 foot pier for private boat pick-up to quickly get you to the world-famous SCUBA and snorkeling sites!

Best place in Cozumel

This was by far the best vacation home I have ever stayed in. We have been taking family vacations for 20 years and I have stay in a lot of nice homes, but this place tops them all. Everyone was so nice. It was a easy check-in and out. The maid service was wonderful. The house had everything you need for a great vacation. Thanks for sharing your home with us it will be a vacation I will never for get.

Wedding Trip to Cozumel

Fantastic location. Beach acces, pool, parking and service was outstanding. We were married at Chankannab, so the location was perfect. The pier makes pick up by boat for scuba diving very convient.

We love this place

This is our 2nd stay here. We had 8 adults and 3 under 6. You can’t beat the layout of the house. Every bedroom has their own bathroom. The patio upstairs is so nice. The location to the pool/ocean is great. Not too close to the pool but close enough. We are planning our 3rd trip next March.

A Brief Stay in Paradise!

This is a lovely property where you can walk out the door and have your feet in the sand within 10 steps! Large home, perfect for groups who like to spread out a bit. Quick ride into town for meals or a kitchen to prepare your own. The owner and property managers are prompt and helpful.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Costa del sol neighborhood. House is in good shape, they are very quick to take care of any issues that may pop up. House is in good condition, great location just a couple hundred feet from the dock where you can have boats pick you up for whatever you’ve got planned for the day. Quick 15-20 minute trip to town. Would highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back!

Relaxing Heaven

The place, location, facilities, host & staff were perfect. We had three families (12 adults) staying under one roof & never felt overcrowded. Having the chefs for all breakfasts & dinners made it even better. Another perfection was the awesome snorkeling available right off & under the pier, not to mention the wonderful pool.

Casa Calypso

When we arrived in Cozumel, our car rental agreements at the airport were so much more expensive than we had agreed to that we cancelled. I immediately called Amber (property manager) and she arranged 2 cars and they were delivered to the house within an hour!! Amazing! The house itself was beautiful, very large and clean. The view was so pretty-we played games and had margaritas on the balcony upstairs at night. The sunsets were beautiful. We had our grown children and their wives with us and their baby. The rooms were large, comfortable and each had their own bathroom. Very nice They had a high chair and bed for the baby and even some sand toys. We used the chefs 3 nights and really enjoyed staying in with no clean up! Their food was delicious The pool was a favorite - so big and had a very nice child’s pool where my grandson turned in to a little fish! We felt very safe and had Myra to call if we needed anything. She was very efficient and helpful!! Loved the whole experience!

Ideal Destination

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Calypso! While there were other families staying in Costa del Sol, it never felt crowded, and we often had the pool area to ourselves or shared with a handful of people. The view of the water was perfect and so calming. Right on the beach! The bedrooms were spread out as such so that everybody had their own little space to retreat to, with areas to converge, as well. Exactly what we were looking for in our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

Great place to relax and enjoy family and friends. Our dive operator picked us up at the dock on dive days. The whole property management team was great; from provisioning, to arranging outings and making recommendations. Everything was great and my whole family enjoyed the entire experience.

This is our third visit to Costa Del Mar (gated community), and our favorite property yet! Directly beach front, amazing views, ocean breezes, plenty of room, quiet beach, and decent snorkeling off the dock. Everything about the property was 5 stars. The entire house is on a filtered water system (in addition to a water cooler), so that was reassuring as well! We will be back!!

Wonderful Home for a Vacation getaway

We were all so impressed with the communication throughout the process. 5 Star! The home was everything they said it would be and more. Again a 5 Star property. The gated community was so clean, peaceful, and good location. You have a full kitchen if you want to cook or you can hire the chef. We had the chef come in and it was nice. Alex the dive master we had was awesome. Frank, the masseuse, was the best. Massage on the beach. We all thought he was excellent. Perfect after diving. All the amenities available to you are wonderful. Highly recommend this property. We will be back! deb

Beautiful Casa on the shore

Great home located about 15 minutes south of town. Very spacious and beautifully decorated home in a secured neighborhood. The sunset and bedrooms are to die for! The patios are very spacious with plenty of room to relax! Butler and cleaning services were spot on. We will be back! 10 out of 10!!

Don and Rosalie are both retired professionals from the Seattle area. We love SCUBA diving, sailing and skiing. Casa Calypso allows us to share our lives with our large family and fun friends. We usually spend our winters in Cozumel, and the summers sailing the beautiful waters of the Pacific Northwest.

Why they chose this property

Cozumel is safe! It's an ideal vacation spot for an active family with varied interests! The grandchildren can swim at the beach or at the pool, the adults can SCUBA, go fishing or take off for the 'wild-side' of the island, and Grandma and Grandpa can kick back on the terrace and watch it all! In the evenings, we can gather on the terrace, or head into town for a delicious restaurant meal. Whether we're walking along the malecon, or looking for a party, Cozumel is a beautiful,safe, and friendly place for all the members of our family to gather. We love it here!

What makes this property unique

Casa Calypso offers the unique combination of being private and outside of the tourist activities in town, but close enough that it's easy to join in at a moment's notice. We love the quite in the mornings, the easy access to diving and snorkeling, the incredible sunsets, and the breathtaking display of stars in the night sky. Truly, it can't be beat!
