We had a wonderful stay at Oyster Cove Getaway. The home is immaculate! It has so many nice touches and thoughtful amenities. Kristie is a wonderful, thoughtful, and caring host. She is readily available and definitely goes above and beyond! The covered front porch is a great place to sit in the morning and enjoy your coffee. It was a very peaceful, relaxing getaway!

Great place to stay in the area so we could visit family. Really nice property and so glad it was dog friendly! Kristie was a SUPER host as communication was quick and comprehensive and so friendly. House was very clean and I loved having our meals at that long table. Thanks for sharing!

Great house directly on the water. There is both pier and walk-in access… so great for both fishing/crabbing and kayaking. Crab cage and kayaks already at property!!Check-in included a very thoughtful gift basket w local ideas and pamphlets. And my kids absolutely adored the game room!!

Beautiful property and excellent location!!

This was a beautiful property and house. It's close enough to antiquing, but still had a somewhat "removed" feeling. Everything was perfectly clean, and check in was super easy. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, laid back stay!

Birthday Celebration

We loved staying at the property to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday! We overindulged in the local oysters! We definitely would recommend this property. It was very welcoming for our family!

A Few Days of Peace and Quiet

A perfect few days to relax and enjoy beautiful weather riverside. Wild animals, birds, hiking, touring, good food and the perfect place to stay. Kristie was a great communicator and the home was lovely, just like the pictures. More room than the 2 of us needed but we enjoyed our time, especially sitting on the patio and taking in the view.

We had a wonderful weekend visit to Oyster Cove Getaway. The property is perched atop a small hill overlooking Taylors Creek with easy access to the water. The house is comfortable and well equipped. While there were just 4 adults and 1 Labrador this visit, there are lots of extras that I know my grandkids would enjoy. (Game room with air hockey, foosball and PacMan as well as kayaks and a canoe for outdoor fun). Kristie is a wonderful host and was very responsive to any inquiry we had. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future!

Perfect Northern Neck Getaway

We loved everything about our four night stay at Oyster Cove Getaway! The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Having water views from the house and a private dock for crabbing, fishing, and kayaking were an added bonus. We also enjoyed exploring nearby Kilmarnock, Irvington, and White Stone (each town was about 10 minutes away or less). The local seafood was a treat and the shops couldn’t be cuter! Lastly, it was a pleasure communicating with Kristie - she was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. We highly recommend if you’re looking for a great spot to relax with family or friends!

Wonderful Weems House

This house was as warm and welcoming as the owners. Kristie and Aaron met any need or requests I had. They were great to make sure I enjoyed my stay. This house comes with a great location and great views. Located in a private area it is still near to town with Walmart being less than 10 minutes away. The driveway is a great and safe place to walk. There is a peaceful dock on the property and easy water access. The beds are also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved having Dara and Bo stay at our place! Dara was an outstanding guest and an excellent communicator. She took great care of our house and treated it as if it were her very own. She was extremely respectful, clean and tidy and you couldn't even tell she had been in the home after her exit. Proud Parents

This property is very nicely decorated and has a spacious master bedroom with accommodation for three children and a baby in the suite. The family room has full length windows all around for lots of light in addition to a newly coastal theme renovation of the large fireplace. Kitchen has a great selection of cookware and new appliances. Watched deer in the back yard and our son-in-law had a good run on the area roads. Huge table off the kitchen seats a large group.
