This house was large, clean, and had plenty of room and games for everyone. We visited in the summer and, unfortunately, were unable to use any of the outdoor space because the weeds were so overgrown around the entire property. If there were cushions on the chairs, they were old and gross. The screen doors all fell off their tracks or were very difficult to open, so we were unable to keep the sliding doors open for additional air. This is probably a great place in the winter but wasn't great for a summer visit.

Property was in need of NUMEROUS repairs. Some examples...a portable master BDR A/C vented outside through an open window which was secured with duct tape and cardboard (and continuously fell off to the ground). Refrigerator in game room not working, significant tear in hammock outside MBDR, sliding screen door torn and falls off tracks. For 1,000 per night I was expecting the house to these basic items in better working order. Our previous VRBO experiences have had much better quality.

Lovely but not great

This was a very beautiful home and we enjoyed our family time especially in the game room and the large living room with very comfortable seating. We did experience some issues with one of the showers not draining properly but it was resolved in a timely manner. The kitchen supplies were sparse and very low quality but the filtered water and instant hot water was such a bonus. The beds were not very comfortable and sheets low quality but over all we had a wonderful experience.

We had a great experience at this house. Location is excellent and there was plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed the pool table and the backyard.

Awesome cabin😍

Thank you for the awesome stay! Beautiful spacious cabin, awesome property, a good sledding hill, well stocked kitchen, (no spices so bring your own if you plan to cook:)), comfy beds, easy parking, lots of games! Would definitely book again!

Excellent Family house!

Loved this House - super fun game room and lots of space to hang out. Owners were quick to respond for anything. We would stay here again.

Beautiful luxury cabin in Lake Tahoe

This home has impeccable! It checked all the boxes- cleanliness, coziness, spaciousness for a large group. The game room and spa were amazing! Would definitely recommend this home for a relaxing & luxurious getaway.

Mostly positive. House was super spacious. We saw a mouse a few times, the refrigerator in the kitchen stopped working (luckily there is a second in the game room area, so we were able to save most of our food) and there wasnt any shampoo/conditioner like the welcome email said there would be, so we had to purchase some when we would've just brought our own. The location was close to south lake Tahoe and restaurants/activities.

My family experience

Our family has been close to Tahoe over many years. It never ceases to amaze and delight us. Now the children are raised and gone and live all over the country. We chose Tahoe to get together. We picked the Luxury Log Cabin with the amenities listed as a choice close to the Lake but not close to other dwellings, and to accommodate our group size. We were comfortable in the space but were left with disappointment and frustration with the shortcomings and lack of function of some of the amenities: There was no air conditioning throughout the home except a window unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Several of the ceiling fans had no pull cords to separate the use of fan w/o light. This meant in bedrooms it wasn't possible to cool off the room at night because one would have to do that with the light on. The shower hot-cold handle in the main level bathroom needs fixing-it slides from the chosen temperature to cold, Brrr! The outside dining set had a few rotted cushions and was covered in pollen - not inviting. We had planned to stay "at home" rather than eating out, so had come with groceries for all meals. The secondary refrigerator needed to hold what wouldn't fit into the kitchen refrigerator couldn't be used-it smelled terrible and was not operational. The alarm system held a low battery that chirped. The home was not fresh and ready for our occupancy: spiders and webs in windows, in ceiling corners. At the front door was a bag of dog poop and an empty energy drink can. We called about the insufficient flatware but that was quickly and courteously addressed. Thank you. We didn't expect a 5-star hotel, but this cabin spoke more of decline than luxury.

Overpriced, but Good Accommodations

Property is great for large groups. The layout of the house is a little strange, but plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen needs lots of TLC. Missing so many simple items - like there are only 7 forks and we had a group of 8. We had to share a fork at one of our dinners and then go out and buy plastic forks. Also, only 2 small kitchen towels. Towels were scarce in this house. No towels for the Spa and we only received 8 towels which we had to use for showers and Spa. Also, the Property Mgt company is awful. We asked to arrive a few hours earlier because a snowstorm was coming in the day of our arrival. They refused - even when we offered to pay - we even said we would wait in the driveway if there was cleaning going on. Big 'No', so we got stuck in the storm and traffic due to a semi that ran off the road. I won't stay here again and I will no longer rent homes that have property mgt companies. This is the 2nd time with this company and it's the same experience. I suggest that you pass on this property and look for a property and isn't managed by this company. Not worth the headache. It's a bummer, because the house is in a great location and is perfect for large family gatherings that allows pets.
