My two adult children and I stayed at this property for a short weekend getaway. It is a really great home in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The home is very clean and well-stocked! The views of the lake are gorgeous! Hopefully we will be back soon.

A one star review is not low enough in my opinion. The other negative review of this property was posted right before our stay, I figured it was a one-off, but I was wrong. We had issues with the property and stayed only one night out of our scheduled four nights due to our concerns. While the property manager was responsive about our concerns initially— ultimately they would not refund one dime of our ruined vacation.

Property was beautiful. The house had old charm that you don’t find anymore, but with modern conveniences. House was supplied with everything you need for a terrific stay. Views of Lake Michigan from the property were breathtaking. The steps down to the beach became quite the adventure but oh what memories we have to laugh about. Highly recommend staying here. So close to our favorite town, St Joe’s.

This property has a very serious mold problem. We were supposed to stay from Friday night to Monday morning but had to leave the house Saturday morning. The smell and the mold you could visibly see was very distressing and made it difficult to sleep or even stay in the house. You can see mold from different parts of the house. I notified the management company Saturday morning and they refunded us two nights. She said she was aware of mildew but not mold, so we showed her when she refunded us by check.This is the first time I’ve ever left a vacation rental early or even left a bad review but this house is not fit for staying. I’ve attached pictures to show what is visible to the naked eye.

Beautiful Benton Harbor!

We greatly enjoyed our long weekend at your property in Benton Harbor. My two adult children and their spouse, along with my two grandchildren, aged 1 and 5 had an excellent stay. We used to travel to St Joe/Benton Harbor every summer when my children were growing up. My daughter now lives in California and wanted to share the lake experience with her children. We really lucked out with the weather! The lake was a perfect temperature. We utilized the water toys and appreciated that they were all blown up and ready to go. The little ones enjoyed the backyard for whiffle ball and our littlest one had fun in the playhouse. Plenty of room inside for everyone and the air conditioning did the job even in the heat of the day. Thank you for a great setting for our family to connect.

We had a wonderful trip. Met some of the neighbors, very friendly. What a lovely area View was absolutely stunning. House very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Loved the cupboards and drawers were labeled. The only negative is that the house needs lots of repairs. I

Perfect beach stay for 7 adults!

We appreciated so much space to spread out!! Big, well-stocked kitchen. Four comfy bedrooms. Great parking. And proximity to the private beach was wow!!! We were up & down the stairs multiple times every day. Already talking about doing the same thing next year!

Super private beach and very cool house

We really enjoyed our family weekend here. The neighbors were super friendly and welcoming and the views were amazing. Yes there are stairs going down to the beach, and yes they are steep. But having your own private piece of the waterfront was really nice. The kids loved the water and the waves and we may have decided to quit driving south every summer for the gulf because we just really enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

The house was great, weather was great, private beach was great, lake was great. 79 steps down to beach -a bit of a challenge for 82 yr. olds- BUT- we did just fine- several trips/day.

Family beach vacation

This is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Lake Michigan with plenty of space for our whole family of 6 to relax and have fun. There is private access to a beautiful beach where we had room to swim, play, have a bonfire and just enjoy the lake. The only drawback is the 79 step, steep stairway down to the beach. But the trip down is definitely worth it! We all enjoyed our time and wished we could have stayed longer.

Awesome lake house!

Great week long stay at Lake Michigan. The house has a great location with easy private access to the beach and great views. Would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful getaway

Spent four nights in late June 2023. Weather largely did not cooperate but the location was perfect on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Lot of steps down to beach but worth the effort. 5 minutes from downtown St. Joe. Stayed with our two sons, age 15 and 19 and they loved it as well. Large kitchen, comfy beds, lots of space for everyone. We will visit again soon!

Great Location and Property

Loved this house with all its history and amenities offered. The location was perfect with a private beach (yes there are a lot of steps BUT was manageable).

Fantastic beach

This was a wonderful place to say! The beach was private and clean, and the decline rate going out to the water was very gradual. The house was equipped with everything you could need. The check in was a breeze, and the town of Saint Joe has plenty to do! I’ll definitely rent this home again in the future!

Amazing rental!

The house was old but really well maintained. Loved the quietness and privacy of the house. And I can’t say enough about the beach! So much private beachfront and very few rocks. Nice sand! Water was very nice to swim in also!
