Wonderful Place

We were so pleased with the condo and all the thought that had gone into making the place feel just like home. It had everything thing we needed for our family to enjoy our stay. The kitchen had nice cookware, dishes, glasses etc. with a nice supply of spices. There were plenty of games to keep the children in our group busy. We spent most of our time at the beach with our extended family but the condo was a great place to come to at the end of the day.We would definitely recommend this wonderful place and we hope to return again to it too!

Great for kids!

Our stay at this poverty, and in St. Joseph was an ideal vacation for our family. We have three young kids all under six. The condo was complete with plenty of games and toys, and even baby gates for the stairs! Our boys loved walking to the pool and we were able to eat in with all the kitchen amenities. The town was also super kid friendly! We loved the beaches, the children’s Museum, and the carousel! Such a wonderful place.

Brilliant for family occasions

A really well equipped, and labeled property. The owners have gone the extra mile to make this an extremely comfortable rental. It’s perfectly located. As a previous resident of St Joseph i couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

Great family place close to the Lake/River/Marina

Lots of room and accommodation options for groups. Very well furnished. Kitchen had everything you could want. Access to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. is a little inconvenient but otherwise everything was great!

Relaxing with pool and beaches

Our family, including kids and grandparents had a wonderful relaxing vacation! Our kids ages 6 and 9 loved sleeping in the loft space, playing games, and having their own bathroom. The bedroom on the middle level worked out great for grandma who couldn't repeatedly go up and down stairs. The furniture and finishes on the place are modern, comfortable, and clean! The location is close to everything, and we all loved the pool and beaches.

Clean and lovely family rental

We had a wonderful experience. The home was clean and had so many personal touches like a coffee and tea bar, so many toys for the kids and plenty of beds for our whole family. The clubhouse pool was so close and convenient and it was also nice being so close to the harbor inn for dinners. We would highly recommend this rental.

Great condo

We had such a great time here. Was perfect for the family. Very clean and kid friendly. Close proximity to the beach and downtown area. Beautiful pool. Would definitely stay here again.

The townhome was very nice, well furnished. Outdoor pool. Close to Sulver beach ( which we loved) when weather permitted.

Perfect Stay!

We were impressed with this rental from the moment we heard from the property manager, Tom, as well as the owner, Paul. Their communication was excellent and they provided us with helpful information prior to our trip even beginning. They are truly invested in making this place a home away from home. This place was perfect for our family of 5 - with 3 kids ages 7, 5 and 2. All of the little details in this home make it stand out...from the coffee brew station, all the labels around the home/kitchen to make it easy to find things, kid dream loft with toys/games, beach accessories/toys, the list goes on. The pool was a great addition to our stay. It provided a nice balance between beach days and pool days. The location is perfect! We did walk to a few places but everything was less than a 5 minute drive away. We hope to be back in the future! Thank you again MI Vacation Retreat! :)

Perfect for fishermen

Tom and Paul/Mandi were terrific hosts. The townhouse was well equipped, very clean and a perfect location near the marina and the town of St. Joseph. We came up one fish short in the tournament, but had a wonderful time at the rental.

Clean and Convenient

Our family of four enjoyed this property for its convenience to St joe beaches and restaurants as well as how organized and clean the place is. Every cabinet is labeled so you’re never scrambling to find something. The upstairs area is perfect for kids and ours loved having it all to themselves. Tom and Paul were available and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Harbor Village

We were overjoyed with our townhouse in Harbor Village. The location and property itself were amazing. Tom was a great property manager to deal with as well. The thing that made our stay feel most like home was all of the extra items in the house that were there for us to use and enjoy. Some examples are: beach umbrella, beach games, washer & dryer, family games and puzzles. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. Thank you so much!

Great stay

Stayed here with my family of 4 and my in-law's family of 4. Paul (property owner) and Tom (local property manager) are great to deal with and very attentive. The unit was brand new and is in excellent condition. They paid attention to detail and included many extras that other properties don't (regular coffee maker as well as Keurig, olive oil/spices, beach towels/toys, etc....I could go on for awhile) The unit was great for our group of 8. Kids all shared the upstairs and the parents each had their own bedroom with plenty of community space. Location is great next to the marina/Inn at Harbor Shores. Fished by the marina, golfed Harbor Shores, nice community pool that was never crowded, Jean Klock Park beach is 1 mile away and doesn't get too packed. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Guests have access to an abundance of nearby outdoor activities. Directly across the street is Harbor Shores Golf Club, a public, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. MI Vacation Retreat sits at the intersection of the Paw Paw and St. Joseph Rivers; and Lake Michigan. At The Inn, a few hundred feet away, is Harbor Shores' Marina, with several for-rent boating companies. Scooter Joe's also operates out of The Inn, and guests can rent bikes (surrey bikes, beach cruisers, electric bikes, and tandem bikes), kayaks, and golf carts. Third Coast Paddling is also just around the corner and rents kayaks and stand-up paddle boards.  There are miles of paved bike paths and sidewalks for running, biking, and hiking.
